Just finished Billion Dollar Loser by Reeves Wiedeman, and can recommend it. It’s a well written, detailed, and an often vertiginous account about the rise and fall of Adam Neumann of WeWork. It was a crazy ride, indeed. A friend who knew I enjoyed the book Bad Blood about Theranos was spot on to recommend this one.

It’s taking a lot of effort to break out of my spy/murder mystery/police procedural book habit, but slowly there’s some progress.

Homer's Iliad and Desperation by Stephen King. The former is for when I'm home alone and am able to focus 100% and Desperation is bedside to wind down before sleep.

Calvin and Hobbes from years ago in the local daily paper. As it is a Finnish paper, Calvin and Hobbes are known as Lassi ja Leevi.

I really enjoyed Desperation. Apart from King’s content (which I love) he has the best titles to his books, Misery, Salem’s Lot, Firestarter, Sleeping beauties, Duma Key, Dreamcatcher, Bag of Bones, The Regulators (isn’t this the sequel to Desperation?) Rose Madder…Can’t think of any more but some great titles…

It’s actually the same story in a parallel universe. He wrote it under his pseudonym before people knew it was him. I was just reading about that one (and the rest of them) while I was donating plasma today. Here you go!
