My Luvvitt Clear TPU for 11", latest revision. hadn't tried the others.

I *really really* like it -- don't 'luvvitt' - but so close and kinda just what I was looking for grip and retaining form factor/proctectiveness wise.

the power button seems easy enough to hit, but the volume buttons need some nail action. To me its not a deal breaker.

I might press and hold, or just adjust volume in CC for the time being. Or I will cut a little slit in the Side of the volume buttons on the case which should ease the tightness over them

If not for that, I'd give it a preliminary 9/10. especially with the current shortage of good ones

Only complaint is smart connector and side pencil connection don't need cutouts since I'm pretty sure you cant fit a smart folio keyboard over this or charge the pencil.

The cut outs are clean otherwise and the back is pretty clear, and it has some front lip action too

It will yellow but in another 6-12 months I don't mind getting another this thing feels right

Thanks for the pictures. I'm wondering if this would fit inside the Smart Keyboard Folio.

Don’t think so. The case runs thick where the smart connector cut out is. The keyboard looks like it needs no buffer / only enough for a skin and this exceeds that

Don’t have a new ASK to test tho

I bought the UAG case from Best Buy because it was the only sturdy looking case that didn't inhibit the pencil charging. I've been waiting for the Otterbox Defender Case or the SUPCASE maker to make one for the 3rd Gen. (I have the 12.9").

Background: Have this in my Swissgear backpack with my 2012" MBP (that has Kuzy rubber shell on that). Travel with it in my case everyday, travel out of the country often. Have only had this iPad Pro for 2 weeks (and had the case the same day I bought the IPP so it's been latched on everyday). Noticed it was bent today when I removed it from the backpack and the pencil didn't seem to be sticking on the side.

There's no doubt about it; that's clearly bent.

Are you returning it? You said you've only had it two weeks.

Have an appointment at Apple Genius Bar day after tomorrow. I fully expect them to give me a new one. Have AppleCare anyways, but even if I didn't... 2 weeks purchase I still think they would swap it out.

If only 2 weeks old the just return and purchase new if need too. Should be in extended holiday window.

Shouldn’t need to buy an Otterbox Defender case to hopefully keep from bending by normal use. So Apple’s brilliant design is only good right after take out of box. Either need to put big case on it or gets damaged by normal use. Ug.

Just an update, SUPCASE is now shipping out its' Unicorn Beetle Pro case for the 12.9" (already had one up for the 11" last week).

I wanna get it, but it's going to be annoying to have to open the case up over and over just to charge the pencil.

Fintie also finally released their cool composition book folio case.

I've never bought a sleeve before. I was going to buy a sleeve that's big enough to fit over an 12.9" IPP that also has a solid/bulk case over it? I still want to cover the screen with something without getting a folio case.

I bought the Fintie composition case for 11 to use while I waited for other companies to catch up on production. I received it a little over a week ago. It’s cute, and it has a place to support pencil charging. It even has a place to store the pencil. Good case, especially for the price!

Already ordered the ESR folio for my 11” iPad Pro. May also order the Ztop with side protection too. The thing is only $11.99. Together they both are still a third less than the Apple folio. Will let everyone here know how they are when they arrive.

I ordered one for the 12.9".

I emailed SUPCASE and they said they would be releasing a UB Pro shell that supports pencil charging by the end of the month or sometime next month. So once I get my replacement IPP I've just gotta be super extra careful with it until I can get that case.

Can you give feedback on this case? Like fit, quality of materials, etc... I need something like this. And how heavy is this?

I have this case under the Timovi brand and it weighs 253g. Heavier than the official case which is 172g. These are for the 11” model.

I have the Timovo, and the purple makes me happy, but yeah, holding the *keyboard* folio in one hand and the Timovo folio in the other, i can’t perceive a difference in weight. So the whole point of using a plain folio seems moot.

What I really need is just some kind of pretty skin for the keyboard folio. I don’t think I can get into just covering it in stickers. I need a little more polish, but I hate boring neutrals.

Ok that’s lame. The only reason why I want a case right now is to have a stand when watching videos. Right now I have no case. I might just pull the trigger on the Apple folio.

I have both smart folio case and smart folio keyboard.

I have the same since I dont like to hold the keyboard when using in bed so I switch between the 2 all the time.

I have tried the cheap cases that are like the smart folio but the quality is not there and the magnets are nowhere near as strong as the apple cover. used my bestbuy points for the case
