But I’m so happy for it. This way the phone is naked and easy to pull out and put into the wallet, yet greatly protected when I have it in the wallet. And it’s just like a great wallet, no bulky case.

But I’m so happy for it. This way the phone is naked and easy to pull out and put into the wallet, yet greatly protected when I have it in the wallet. And it’s just like a great wallet, no bulky case.
I went for the Apple clear case. Very nice! It does show the fingerprints, but has a bit of grip to it that I like....not slippery! It is also very slim and doesn’t add a lot of bulk. I imagine it offers at least some fall protection!

Looks great. Just like my blue XR only mine is in a Spigen Ultra Hybrid. Looks almost identical only the Spigen also covers the bottom of the phone. Oh yeah, it's less than 1/3 the cost of the Apple case. Anyway, great taste in color.
Good price too, so no big deal to replace it for cheap when it turns yellow.
My first real leather case. Literally. Haven’t owned one before since I’ve always used silicone or plasticity cases. Feels incredible. It’s also very soft and not as slippery as being naked. I got fed up with using a naked phone after I got a scratch on the glass back for no apparent reason. I’ve been babying my device since I got it and it still got scratched. So cases it is!
I also ordered a grip of silicone, Apple branded cases. Can’t wait for those to arrive later this week.
Edit: got my charcoal grey “apple” case.

I really like the Caudabe Sheath but I had one thing I didn’t like - the color. I emailed Caudabe and got some good news back (at least if you like red):

Nice! I’m also trying to find the best leather case for the XR. I tried a bunch and the Mujjo seems like the best quality. I got the black but I think I’m going to return it for the tan instead. Does anyone know how well their tan case ages compared to the Apple Saddle Brown? I think I’m also going to pick up a classic Diztronic matte case in red (because I need some kind of red to go with it), and that’ll round out my case assortment for the XR. Everything else will probably go back, by the way red leather sounds great in theory but is too easy to get damaged or stained.

Good news, been wanting a red option for the Caudabe.
What I really want is an official Apple silicone case for the XR in red. Not holding my breath though.
Currently using an Torras copy from Amazon that is pretty good.
I gave my friend my red one. I noticed it’s his favorite color. Plus his XR is red too and it’s his first iPhone he chose a really interesting time to join on board; he’s been talking about the s10 I hope he sticks.
I don’t mind the chinese clones - if you can even call them that. They feel really incredible. My phone has become a fidget. The texture is so soft and snooth. It’s really nice. These are my first time using silicone as I’ve always gone naked or used a polypropylene type thin case as what you would find at totallee. I paid between 5.99 - 7.99 for these it beats the $40 nearly what you would pay in store I don’t think I’ll ever buy retail again I’m sorry but you start to realize how insane a $34 logo is.
which ebay sellers have ones that for sure have the apple logo? thats what im curious of
Didn’t know about that one, looks pretty nice! I ordered it along with the Diztronic to see what I like better (I’ll probably keep both), and also got a snazzy looking red DinoCase for my iPad Pro.
I like it but do wish it was a darker shade of red like the Apple one that I had for my iPhone 8.
It would match the red Xr better too. Oh well.
One of my coworker gave me an imitation Apple silicone case when he came back from his business trip. Mine looks exactly like yours (complete with the microfiber/soft lining inside the case). Mine is in a dark brown color (with an even darker brown Apple logo). I also have the ProductRed XR..but the brown case and red phone combination isn't too bad.
I forgot how much I love these kinda of material despite being a lint magnet and the difficulty in getting in and out of pockets. But in the hand, it feels so nice to me..with a good balance of softness and grip. Too bad the bottom is open.
Another forum member has recommended the Miracase Liquid silicon case. Its like the Apple silicone case, but the bottom is covered. I haven't pulled the trigger on it yet..but it looks to be very similar to what we have.
You may have to search "apple silicon iphone <model>" and click through each one. Some on ebay (and AliExpress) will mention "with Logo" for the ones with Apple logo on it. But most sellers won't explicitly say it has the "Apple" logo.
I basically went with the ones who said “genuine” in their title. Some of them also mention it includes retail like packaging - which I recommend it’s a psychological thing. You’ll receive it better once it arrives. And also mentions includes logo. I believe they pretty much all do.
They also have the nice MF interior. I have more colors on the way, ocean blue, deep olive and cobalt blue. I love being able to switch up depending on my mood and what im wearing. The ones ive received so far have all been high quality. The grey one had a little looseness to it i believe which was my fault but after dropping it in some hot water it molded back.

The Mira case ones i bought on Amazon but returned, it did not have apple logo on it and also I avoid the full 360 coverage ones for a reason however. I used to sell cases and the 360 ones are prone to cracking due to the rigidity of the case and the brittleness of the materials used.

Yeah..some reviews of the Miracase complained about the bottom portion feeling more loose. I’m guessing there’s no plastic on the bottom and just rubber? A few have mentioned the rubber near the volume ripped..
Here’s cocoa I just bought from a different seller. If there was an Apple silicone case this one would be it. I am going to check out more colors. Possibly orange.

Since the iPhone 6 I’ve tried many, many Apple Silicone case knock-offs. All have had issues which include:- mold lines, poor fit, gaps along the edges, too slippery, lint magnets, strong unpleasant smell, screen lip to big or too small, actual finger prints in the silicone...
Outside of the mold lines mines are all perfect. You just have terrible luck sir
Yeah my Mujjo fits very good too. I had read about the loose fits but was relieved when I put mines on.
