Speaking of Mujjo, how does that one age? I have a brown Mujjo and Sena coming in, and wondering which one is more worth keeping. I have a black Mujjo and red Sena now, and the Sena seems better for the metal buttons alone.

Can you post pictures of the red Sena

Still looking for a TPU case that is the same or similar blue to the Xr, anyone seen one?

So I think ultimately this is going to be my final lineup of cases:

Caudabe Sheath (gray for now, red is coming)
Incipio DualPro (red)
Nomad Rugged (brown)
Otterbox Symmetry (black and dark red)

Down the line may also pick up Nomad Rugged Folio. I’ve tried out a bunch of stuff, got some good stuff that wasn’t quite great and some bad stuff, but I’m about to return everything else probably - Mujjo, Sena, Spigen, a bunch of other nameless brands, everything else is going back. I was just underwhelmed by those compared to what I’m keeping. I MAY still keep the Mujjo in brown.

EDIT - Got the Mujjo, underwhelmed by it unlike the Apple cases when I see them. A real shame that Apple never made leather cases for the XR. Going to return the brown one as well. I just like the Nomad overall so much better. I also picked up an Otterbox Symmetry on a whim to try out - I’ve never had the Symmetry for any phone before - and I’m really happy with it, it even just saved my phone from a drop. Adding it to the list. Picked up the black one at Best Buy, also ordered the dark red (Fine Port) one from Amazon, going to likely keep both. I have some interest in the brown version of that classy looking Otterbox folio, though.

I’m looking for a clear case that is a tight fit on the XR. I’m currently using the ESR clear soft case and it doesn’t add too much bulk which I like, and seems to protect well enough for minor drops, but the sides then to lift up easily and I constantly have to take it off and wipe dust off the phone.

Can’t help with a specific clear case but my experience with the ESR cases is that they are too flexible around the sides of the phone. For my taste at least.

However, I find that all cases (clear or otherwise) that cover the bottom either lift around the sides or, if they don’t, are annoyingly difficult to remove. Cases with the bottom cutout allow the case to flex when taking off/on while at the same time allowing stiff non-flexible sides.

I have the Ringke Fusion and it pretty solid. The sides aren't soft. But not sure if it adds too much bulk for your preference though..but its fine for me. There is also Ringke Air, which seems like its the Fusion with rubber back instead of the hard plastic back. Not sure about how thin it is though as it looks to be the same thickness/thinness as the Fusion to me.

I still have an older Ringke Fusion on my old iPhone 6 plus and that version is still solid. The XR version feels more solid to me..but maybe that's because the XR is much thicker than the 6 plus..

I have the ESR case and the Ringke Air. They’re pretty much the same case. The Ringke feels like it will handle drops slightly better but the issues are the same for both.

I want a case that matches my red iphone xr, the only one I've found so far from a respected brand is the caseology vault, what do you think? Do you have any other suggestions?

I’ve been looking for a case to match the blue of the Xr for months. Not found anything either.

Caseology also has a blue one, it’s not the same kind of blue as the iPhone XR , but at least it’s blue :’(

I’ve got a Caudabe case that’s a similar blue to the caseology but can’t find any absimilar blue to the phone.

So far have tried.

Apple smart battery case. Too thick and heavy was free so can't complain too much.
Evutec. Car holder was useless returned it, overpriced here for what it is.
Caudabe Lucid clear. Too slippery returned it. Worse than no case.
Mujjo black leather. Still using it, nice leather and not slippery. But sides have near 0 lip on bottom. Free from Amazon.

Caudabe Sheath in mail, have had one before.

I have a speck grip and glitter in purple and an otter box commuter.

I urge everyone to give the rhinoshield leather solidsuit a try. Its not bulky, extremely protective and the back feels super nice.
