Can anybody talk about how the Speck Presidio and Otterbox Symmetry for iPhone 7P compare? I want protection but the slimmer the better. Does anybody have hands on experience with these two?

I do, the otterbox is definitely more bulky. It sounds like you'd prefer the speck tbh, just be aware it might come with a cut out for the headphone jack.

My Otterbox Symmetry case arrived. I have to say this case on a scale of 1 to 10 is a major go. Very little bulk on the sides or the back yet it's stiff with just the right amount of grip. I love the fact that the back is relatively smooth so it doesn't get stuck on your clothes when you pull it out of your pocket. The power and volume buttons are a bit stiff and hard to press, but that might get easier over some time of use. And my favorite feature is that the lip is very very small, almost seems flush with the front of the phone. I despise huge lips on cases because it is a pain in the *** to get to the edge of the screen for multitouch gestures. Yes, this case is a major win.

don't you think this iPhone 7 case with the sheet and straps are so cool?

Thanks for the answer! Speck presidio seems to have a lot of issues, e.g. Extra Slippery outer shell, corner not fitting, rubber shape not holding up etc. I might Just get the symmetry for peace of mind.

I agree with Mike, if you can, go and compare them. Personally if I wanted a rock solid case, I knew I'd get a good quality case buying the otterbox. I'll be using it for extreme activities (skiing, climbing, etc) , it feels that protective. I won't be using it as a daily as it's too bulky (and the rhinoshield playproof is a fantastic case, you should check it out)

It is really difficult to base everything on hearsay. Each and every person has their own prefered activity and personality. Yes I bought the Speck, others bought Otterbox, Apple, Poetic, etc. All are great cases, of course except the fake ones.
We have done our inquiries. Now its time to go and visit a store, touch and compare. And last would be, buy and be happy.

Again thanks for the input guys. Well in stores they usually have these cases in a package and I never actually get to feel them in my hands unless I buy them. Are there stores that have cases on for display?? I'd love to touch and feel the cases for myself.

How don you like it? Wish 7+ version came with strap too
The case is protective, the sheet is cool, also comes with a neck strap and a wrist strap, the sheet and straps can also be used on iPhone 7 plus case, my friend tested it. In a word, I think it's practical, I can use it when I have no hands to hold my cellphone

The packaging for both these cases lets you open it up and feel the case if I remember correctly.

So I ordered this case again and this time they sent me the right color. I love it. Coolest case I've ever had on a phone. It's roughly the same size as the defender but slimmer and heavier.

Put the otterbox way but it's up for sale if anyone wants it

It would be nice to see some 'Real" pictures of this case.
