I recently attended a conference with a fantastic exhibit hall filled with tech. Many of the exhibitors were handing out card card that stick to the back of your phone, or car. Very convenient. Excuse the grunge on the back of my case. Too much playing, and I haven't been home in weeks. image.jpg

I caved in and bought a supermarket clear case for £4 for my red iPhone! It will be my weekender for not so strenuous activities!

Fits very well and not too fussed about £ as it was cheap. Took a chance and it's certainly not the worst cheap case I've ever bought!

I'm now thinking its the time of year (for those of us who upgrade every year) to stop buying anymore cases...Iphone 8 just around the corner.

Just saw on the Verizon site that Under Armour just released a line of cases. Might have to take a run and see what they are like

While I'd love to have a clear case to show off my red 7+, they invariably yellow within a couple months.

I got a Caseology Parallax in red:

I love the honeycomb pattern on the back. Classy.

Hmm I do like that one! Darn I got the black wavelength case which as my first caseology case I'm very impressed!

Anyone ever use real carbon fiber cases? Worth it? Much protection? Much style? Too slick or too grippy?

Any flimsiness on the sides? How's the fit?

Also how's the grip too?

I only just ordered it so I don't have any hands on yet, but I'll come back and let you know when it's all installed. :)

I've mostly always had black cases, but when I bought the red 7 I figured I might as well show it off. It is a red iPhone, after all. :)

I got this case today at some kiosk, its like the tech21, just without brand name on it. I checked out Apple Store for cases but too expensive. Does anyone know anything about tech21? the person who sold me this said it works just like tech21.

Here's what the box looks like.

I think the Wavelength style might offer better grip, honestly. The honeycomb pattern looks very nice, and while it's a soft touch finish, "grippy" is not a word I'd use to describe it. I'm okay with it since my last case, a Spigen, was the same type of thing. I may splash out in a glossy carbon fiber case, which is also stylish but has the "gloss-grip" thing going on. Not sure yet.

One thing I can say is that the Omoton screen protector went on like a charm, has nice soft edges, but DAMN is it exactly as wide as the screen itself. The overlay between protector and screen is about as much as a closed Mogen clamp... okay bad example. :D

Any flimsiness on the sides? How's the fit?
The fit down the sides is pretty good for a push-in case. Unlike Spigen, and unlike some of the photos on Amazon, the Parallax I don't think is really meant to be taken apart. You push the phone into it. But it fits like a Tom Ford suit. Tight, if you don't know the metaphor.

I've got one of these coming today for my iPhone 7:

Never owned a bumper case for an iPhone 7 before so will be interesting to see how it is.

.....well, gotta say, that bumper case was VERY short lived!!!! I've already taken it off my phone!!:p

Being a metal bumper (the part which covers the lightning connector is rubber), it offers zero grip, plus the fact that as it is a minimal bumper, when holding the phone in your hand, your fingers will naturally rest on the back of the phone, so it will get plastered with finger prints!!

Also, I don't trust myself to hold my phone without dropping it because if it falls, its going to hit the ground hard, which is what I'm most worried about....!!! Oh well, you live and learn...!!!:rolleyes:

An anyone recommend a nice leather folio type case? I used to love BookBook but too expensive.
