Totally on board with you. The reason why so far I got black or space grey iPhones (other than sleekness) was because of the distracting white bezels on the silver models. The problem is that I have always been concerned by the raw aluminium showing after scratches or dings. Thats why I went with a silver Apple Watch when I got the S3 last year. That’s why I think the iPhone 4S was the best design to date in my opinion, sleek black and no anodisation to be scratched. This year though there’s no disturbing white bezels with the non coloured anodised aluminium option, that’ll be the most durable choice I think. I just wish they made a black one with silver aluminium for that 4S durability and look, but I guess a black Dbrand skin in the back would recreate that black/silver/black sandwich I wanted while also protecting the back!i need help! i was thinking white cause it's the only option without an anodized colored aluminium. i'd go with black but i'm afraid it'd peel off or scratch easily and being black the scratch would be quite apparent. any thoughts on this?
We should, as people have been able to order cases with their phones in the past I think.Do you thing we have any chance to can see (and choose with time) the original cases for XR some hours/days before apple store coming back with pre-orders live?
But just maybe (fingers crossed) it will have decent cellular connectivity. I’ve been one of the unfortunate with XS Max connectivity problems. Returned the Max and hoping for better with the XR.720p screen in 2018.....
It’s scratch-resistant 7000 series aluminum and if you’re still afraid a clear case will set you back $1. If you like the black, buy black. Regardless of the color you will need to be careful with your expensive device anyway. A white XR with a broken screen doesn’t look any better than a black one.i need help! i was thinking white cause it's the only option without an anodized colored aluminium. i'd go with black but i'm afraid it'd peel off or scratch easily and being black the scratch would be quite apparent. any thoughts on this?
My car is purple, so I would also buy it. I have a Max tho.I'm not getting a new iPhone this year, but I think they made a big mistake by not making a purple model. I could see that selling HUGE with girls/women. They probably should've done purple over coral or yellow, to be honest (if they only wanted to do 5 color options).
Oh I don’t know. I had a silver 8 Plus and I somehow dinged the top of it and the scratch was pretty apparent to me. I’ve similarly dinged a gold aluminum Apple Watch and the gouge on it actually didn’t look that bad. It wasn’t a silver gouge against gold like I would have expected. That’s the only experience I have with dinged up aluminum Apple products so far though.i need help! i was thinking white cause it's the only option without an anodized colored aluminium. i'd go with black but i'm afraid it'd peel off or scratch easily and being black the scratch would be quite apparent. any thoughts on this?
Thanks for this. I hope that’s how Apple will do it: Making you see what each XR looks like with each case.Im planing to use a case... for now i've pre-ordered Rhinoshield Solidsuite with the carbon fiber back. people usually say that color of the phone doesnt matter if you use cases, especially non-transparen ones but it still does cause you can still see the color, mostly around the camera. at the bottom of this page you can see how it'd look like to combine diff iphone xr colors with diff cases: https://rhinoshield.io/pages/solidsuit
