iPhone XR What Color XR are you Getting. [MERGED]

Totally on board with you. The reason why so far I got black or space grey iPhones (other than sleekness) was because of the distracting white bezels on the silver models. The problem is that I have always been concerned by the raw aluminium showing after scratches or dings. Thats why I went with a silver Apple Watch when I got the S3 last year. That’s why I think the iPhone 4S was the best design to date in my opinion, sleek black and no anodisation to be scratched. This year though there’s no disturbing white bezels with the non coloured anodised aluminium option, that’ll be the most durable choice I think. I just wish they made a black one with silver aluminium for that 4S durability and look, but I guess a black Dbrand skin in the back would recreate that black/silver/black sandwich I wanted while also protecting the back!
Im planing to use a case... for now i've pre-ordered Rhinoshield Solidsuite with the carbon fiber back. people usually say that color of the phone doesnt matter if you use cases, especially non-transparen ones but it still does cause you can still see the color, mostly around the camera. at the bottom of this page you can see how it'd look like to combine diff iphone xr colors with diff cases: https://rhinoshield.io/pages/solidsuit

I'm guessing Apple has some plans up its sleeve regarding cases for this phone. The 5C had the silicone cases with the circle cutouts to emphasize the colors and allow for a huge number of color combinations. Hopefully they won't copy that case exactly as I thought they were pretty hideous but I'd like to see something similar for the Xr.

Black which will break the color theme I've been going with (white/silver/rose gold) but I'm buying the Pitaka case which will match perfectly.
We should, as people have been able to order cases with their phones in the past I think.
But just maybe (fingers crossed) it will have decent cellular connectivity. I’ve been one of the unfortunate with XS Max connectivity problems. Returned the Max and hoping for better with the XR.
It’s scratch-resistant 7000 series aluminum and if you’re still afraid a clear case will set you back $1. If you like the black, buy black. Regardless of the color you will need to be careful with your expensive device anyway. A white XR with a broken screen doesn’t look any better than a black one.
Oh I don’t know. I had a silver 8 Plus and I somehow dinged the top of it and the scratch was pretty apparent to me. I’ve similarly dinged a gold aluminum Apple Watch and the gouge on it actually didn’t look that bad. It wasn’t a silver gouge against gold like I would have expected. That’s the only experience I have with dinged up aluminum Apple products so far though.
I’ve had a black series 2 aluminum Apple Watch for over a year of hard use and it looks pristine. I don’t usually put dents and dings on my stuff but the watch was a freak accident and I really don’t know what happened to my phone. I had dropped it once but the drop didn’t do that.
