I guess I could actually contribute to this thread... I love the 3GS. It does just about everything I want it to (save for MMS, but that's a whole different story ), however I would appreciate complete landscape support.

I'd like to be able to set calendar reminders at custom intervals. I'd like to be able to set up contact groups and set ringtones for a group. I'd like to be able to set separate ringtones for voicemail, new mail, sent mail, and calendar alerts. I'm sure there are other little things, that's all I can think of at the moment.
