I'm currently playing Diablo II: Resurrected, Curse of the Dead Gods, Beautiful Desolation, and Animal Crossing. I've managed to get my entire family addicted to Animal Crossing. 😂

Well, it was inevitably going to happen sometime. I broke down and bought Marvels Avengers on sale two weeks ago.... and now they announced it is going to be coming to gamepass.

Finished my full playthrough of Dragon Age 2 and tried to play Inquisition again, and just nah. It's too open world for me. I felt like I was just running in circles too much.

Going to play through Fable 3 since I never finished that one.

That is the story of my life. Currently playing the PS+ version of Control after I bought Control and didn't play it.

Has anyone pre-ordered Battlefield 2042? It's comical that the beta will be available on the 8-9 Oct............if you have pre-ordered. Isn't the purpose of a beta to allow people to try or give feedback on a game before they buy it?

I'm very excited to try out Alan Wake Remastered. Many times I thought about buying an Xbox to try that game. It's the kind of game that I love to play.

Never thought I'd actually see it on Playstation, and now with better graphics! Only 30$, but maybe I'll wait for a sale to get it even cheaper. On Steam I got it for less than 1$, but never play on my Mac.

I've never played it and was surprised when I saw it had a connection to Control.

It’s a very unique take on horror, only using a flashlight to thwart the ‘enemies’. But more than anything, this a story with in a story, and the gameplay elements are kind of second in nature. I played the original and it was very much underrated, primarily because the marketing was non-existent, and it was from a smaller developer that was basically unheard of with ‘Remedy Entertainment’.

Some of the most memorable titles are from smaller developers who are working on one project -versus- developers who are co-creating multiple projects.

StarCraft 2 coop mode
Legend Of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

I play other games on PC and phone from time to time, but those 2 are the big ones that occupy the majority of my gaming time.

So I decided to give Destiny 2 a shot again since I can get all the expansions with GamePass. You can play the basics of even the latest update, but they keep some items and areas locked behind their season pass, which is actually annoying.

Having fun with the storyline, but overall I am not feeling it too much as the little things they have done are really annoying me.

One of the biggest is making all weapons from before the latest expansion, legacy items. With that, they capped their power levels so even if you try to infuse them with new weapons from the expansion, their power level stays the same. Which makes my bow that I spent the materials to get to masterwork level 10 basically just a pretty ornament. Not to mention my two auto-rifles, my machine gun, and every slot of my armor. That is a lot of wasted time and materials.

Literally just arrived - 42 quid including postage, the poster and a keyring !

Well I finally finished the main story in Control. I had no idea I've been right near the end. The mission I am stuck on (that I finally said "screw this" to and moved on to another mission) is apparently a DLC.

Such a strange experience for me. I loved parts of the game (Ashtray Maze, the powers) but absolutely hated some parts of it (map, losing funds when you die, some of the bosses). I still think it's BS how you lose a percentage of your funds when you die considering how cheap some of the deaths are.

X Series Battlefield 2042 Beta, had to pause as evening meal time.
What an impressive map to view teams progress.

This could be fun.
I played the beta this evening. Good graphics and as you said the mini map is very well designed.

However I found the map itself to be too big. Maybe I am turning into an old fart but I prefer smaller maps with 10v10. :p

After playing BattleField 2042 I immediately played Battlefield 4 for the first time. WOW, FPS boost to 120 and auto hdr are mindblowing. The game feels as smooth and responsive as a new games but just running at a lower resolution. An absolute bargain game at £3.79.

Once you get used to 60 or 120fps in shooter games, 30fps feels unplayable. This is why I sometimes struggle to buy older games.

Your brain will notice lower FPS quicker than it will resolution, the same applies to bad audio vs lower resolution for youtube videos.

It's the first game that I have played with FPS boost and it works as advertised.

I recently finished the story mode of AC: Odyssey on Xbox Series S. Looking to pick up the season pass in a little while.
