Just finished bioshock infinite: burial at sea part 2.

I have a huge 360 backlog, not sure if I will try some of the far cry games, dead space 2, or red dead revolver next.

Just picked up Last of us - PS4, only got a couple of hours into the original but after selling the original on eBay it'll only cost me the price of the Left Behind DLC, so it's all good!

Also playing through that PT/Silent Hill demo. It's incredible. I've never been this scared playing a game before! Will definitely be picking up the full game.

I really liked Dead Space 1 and 2. In fact based on those other games listed, I would suggest that to get it out of the way because FC3 and RDR can eat up a LOT of time.

Dead Space 3 was a bro-fest garbage game IMO.

Picked up some games for my PS4, prices are finally starting to come down! :) AC Black Flag for 30€ and Tomb Raider for 25€.

Started Black Flag tonight, maybe two hours into it. Surprisingly fun so far. AC games usually don't hold my attention for too long. I think they normally do a horrible job immersing me into the historical period and environment, what with all the animus crap and blinking highlights and prompts always reminding me it's just a simulation. But the whole intro island sequence was actually well done in that regard. Now that I seem to have started the "proper" game, we'll see how far that goes... But overall I am feeling a sense of fun here that previous games seemed to lack. Very promising start!

Agreed on PT! It looks incredible, and is very creepy. Never managed to trigger the final cutscene though, and the running back and forth got frustrating. But up until then it was amazing, can't wait to see what the game looks line!

Yeah same, I was hoping to finish it but that final bit is too frustrating. I've got all the picture pieces and I'm trying to get the laughing to play 3 times.
I love the visuals. Simple textures and loads of post-processing makes a really realistic image. When I first played it, in the scene where you stand up, I thought it was pre-rendered/live footage!

Me too! We're really approaching photo-realistic looking gameplay here! First time I was truly wow'd by this gen graphics-wise.

Oh my god Tomodatchi Life, oh my god. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do but it's so fun doing it. It's Animal Crossing on a pleasant drug trip. Real good as a downloadable title too (should be cheaper, but there is a ton of content).

I keep putting Wind Waker HD on the back burner. In its place I finally got around to beating Bioshock Infinite, which I enjoyed, along with Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. I only finished Order of Ecclesia at 55% or so, so somewhere along the lines I missed half the game??? I had nearly all the maps at 100%, so I must have screwed up the story or something.

Anyway, I think I'm going to go back to Wind Waker and just get through it.

My completed save is at 80%. The rest is spent collecting powers, upgrades and finding secret rooms. There are LOADS of secrets in the final castle! Have you got all the villagers?

Hector: Badge of Carnage. A laugh out loud adventure puzzler reminiscent of the good old Lucas Arts days. I'm loving it so far.

So... eh... what castle? lol I'm serious. I killed Albus and then basically
it's credits rolling. I just kind of sat there thinking, "Well, that's abrupt."

Is Dracula even in the game? I guess I should lookup a walkthrough as something went wrong somewhere. When I play any Metroidvania-style game I generally aim for doing as much as I can. I hadn't even done all of the villagers quests though, and I think there was one villager left to save, but all of the maps except 1 showed 100%; that one that didn't was some wall that glows blue, so I have a feeling there's something behind it.

Excellent, you've got a ways to go :D you need to rescue all the villagers. I think all Castlevania games have 2 endings. The quick one and the real one, which is usually hides loads of additional stuff.

Yeah just before the credits rolled, the screen cut to one villager still trapped in the crystal-stuff. I was like, "Oh, whoops." And then the credits rolled :) Guess I'll have to go back and figure out what to do. Thanks for the tips.

Have you played any of the other ones? I strongly recommend Aria and Dawn of Sorrow, as well as Symphony of the Night. All follow the same mechanics.

Indeed I have. I beat them all. SotN was my absolute favorite. I am on a Castlevania kick, so after I go back and see what I missed in Ecclesia, I'm going to knock out Simon's Quest and Castlevania III.

Did you solve it?

Wait at clock for midnight, then walk ten spaces any direction.

Then Just listen to the haunting sounds. If it sounds like heavy breathing stand by the phone, if it sounds like a radio stand by the radio, if it sounds like crying stand in front of mirror. Do that for all the haunting sounds.

Then drop the controller. It will start to rumble. Do not pick it up until after it stops rumbling.

Then go and answer phone.

Done.

This works EVERY TIME.

Diablo 3 UEE on the Xbox One.

Loving it so far. It plays very smooth. I bought D3 when it first came out from Blizz and leveled a demon hunter to 60. Had a lot of fun but quit playing then. I had not played the expansion at all. So the crusader and changes they made to the game are all new to me (no AH, paragon, etc.).

I'm glad I picked this up. Loading times are non-existent compared to the computer version. Free legendary ring if you link your bnet and xbox live accounts for the game.

Two thumbs up from me so far (only level 13 on my crusader though).

I picked this up today too. It's good fun, I can't decide which character to play so I'm playing early levels with three different characters to see who I prefer. Loading times are very swift indeed, I choose Xbox One version over PS4 because it's half the size and they are both 1080p after the patch. Even the ps4 version doesn't stick to 60fps so drops to 50fps is not a big deal .....

Haven't linked accounts yet, must do that.

I bought the game on PC when it came out and haven't played in a while. If I sync my bnet and XBL accounts, will I unlock achievements on XB1?

No I don't think you'll unlock the achievements that way.

The Xbox One has it's own achievements for your Xbox Live account. It doesn't bring anything over from the PC version other than linking your accounts and giving you the legendary ring.

If you had the game on an Xbox 360 or PS3 (the previous version of D3 w/out the expansion that came out last year) you could move your characters onto the new version of the game after linking. But not from a PC.

I just left my 60 Demon Hunter from the computer version alone since I had not played in awhile anyway and started a crusader on the Xbox One, which I am loving. Finished Act I last night.

Legendary and rare drops are a lot more frequent now and gear actually drops that you can use. I played D3 when it first came out and I almost never got rare drops and NEVER got a legendary drop. I had to acquire all this from the AH. So that's a nice change to come back to.

I really think this game was made for a controller. It plays so well with one. It's nice to sit on my couch and relax and hold a controller while playing this on my 50" TV instead of using a keyboard and mouse (which I don't mind for some games). But it just feels right on this game for some reason.

I just picked up Tales of Xillia 2 and i am still plugging away at Watch Dogs. And of course Warframe is my usual daily fix with some friends.

I just finished Assassins Creed 3. Well 17 minutes ago, the credits are still rolling :D.

You have to give Ubisoft credit for the amount of effort that goes into each AC game, but I was just dying to finish this one off.

Partly because I've had AC4: Black Flag on PS4 waiting for me since last year, but mostly because this one was just so damn frustrating to play. I barely touched on the additional things you can do which is rare for me with an AC game.

Ah well.
