I just finished Assassins Creed 3. Well 17 minutes ago, the credits are still rolling :D.

You have to give Ubisoft credit for the amount of effort that goes into each AC game, but I was just dying to finish this one off.

Partly because I've had AC4: Black Flag on PS4 waiting for me since last year, but mostly because this one was just so damn frustrating to play. I barely touched on the additional things you can do which is rare for me with an AC game.

Ah well.

You know how many times I had to quit back out of that game because my horse got stuck in the rocks or between two trees!! A lot.:mad:

Yeah that was really annoying. It was so many little things that bugged me. I looked at the achievement list, and on one hand I was regretting not getting some of the easier to attain ones, but seriously I'm just done with that game.

Anyway I've quickly moved onto Gran Turismo 6 (PS3).

Well trying to play. Despite my PS3 being connected directly via ethernet and having a faster 7200rpm HDD with plenty of space just getting to the start screen yet eludes me.

It took an hour from boot to download the MULTIPLE GBs of data (I lost track, there was a 1.4GB download and when I looked over again there was a 2.4GB one going on).

Now I'm at an "installing" screen which I **** YOU NOT, told me I had "Approx. 600 mins. left" to install.

Ridiculous.

3D Dot Game Heroes

Picked it up after the high praise it got here (Dagless?). Had a lot of fun with the character editor, basically took the "Evil Hare" template and turned him into a friendly adorable bunny! :D

Game is very cute so far, I just made it through the first dungeon. Of course it's basically old school Zelda in every way, but very charmingly so! Can't wait to play more! :)

Yes! It's so good and I'd love a Vita or PS4 sequel, thanks From Software.

Did you solve it?

I did :) I can't remember if I followed yours or another one doing the rounds. I didn't question it. Nor did I follow to the T! The phone rang and I got to watch the trailer I had already seen on Youtube :D.
It worked though. I'll be getting Silent Hills on day 1.

I just got my NFL 15, So I'm playing it. There's no brand new and good video game since the may. I'm looking forward to having a Destiny 2 weeks later.

I just picked up a copy of 'The Last of Us' remake for PS4, so looking to play that.

My internet is fast, but the latency is bad, so I'm trying to avoid online based games.

Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition.

I played a lot of this on my mac mini ( which didn't too bad, and was cool playing with people running it on high end pcs ), but stopped when it became apparent that Blizzard was counting on the Auction House for DLC money, and seriously gimped legendary drops. I really enjoyed the game but the decisions made around it killed the game, and I never played it again or the dlc. I had heard the game really improved once the auction house & drops were improved, but I didn't care. Some friends said they were going to be playing it until Destiny dropped so I went ahead and got it.

It improves on the PC version in so many ( No not graphically, calm down PC supremacists ) ways. The drops are improved, the roll/dodge feature is heaven, and using game chat is nice. Having played Warframe for the majority of my time on PS4, playing a grinding oriented game isn't anything new for me.

Fun time waster.

I still haven't solved it, at some point I always get frustrated and turn it off.

I always stare at the clock when it turns to midnight. Then walk ten steps and stop - baby laughs! Then I listen to the noises and run back and forth between radio, mirror (creepy reflection!!) and the phone, and nothing happens. :( Sometimes I see a ghost, but I never got a second baby laugh.

I think I just entered through the door and waited till the bells finished. Walked down the corridor, heard a laugh and put the controller down for a minute or 2. I was already by the phone so I just turned and zoomed in to look at it.

I picked up Ryse a couple months ago (cheap/used from Gamefly) so I have been tearing through that and just have the multiplayer achievements to finish. However, I ordered Diablo 3: UEE for the XB1 and am looking forward to that for the long weekend!

I also downloaded the NHL 15 demo, but I am very upset because the XB1/PS4 versions of NHL 15 will NOT have EASHL!

Yep. Same thing here. I had hit 60 on my demon hunter on the Mac when D3 first came out but I NEVER got a legendary drop and only a few rares. Needless to say I couldn't take any hits or I died b/c my gear sucked. I had to do everything through the AH and after a few weeks of grinding gold and gear to sell on the AH so I could actually buy gear for my DH I just got tired of it and never played again.

Until Ultimate Edition on the Xbox One. Loving it so far. I'm around level 70 31 paragon now and it's a great game. Been joining up randomly with people off of the D3 console forum and tearing through stuff. Loving the crusader so far. Drops are great now. You get enough to keep you satisfied whilst searching for the certain ones you want.

I'm hoping it's not as much of a grind as the PC version (last I played was about a year ago). I just don't have the time to spend more than 1-2 hours a day playing any game. The lack of drops (and crazy auction house prices) were the main reasons that I stopped playing.

Well, it's still a grind b/c that's the game. Repetitive dungeon crawler grind. But seriously, the legendary drops happen. I've got probably 30 wearable legendaries from starting the game until now (31 paragon)...and am sitting on a legendary in every slot except shield, gloves, and legs at the moment. I have maybe around 10 legendary plans to make gear. I've seen two set drops (green items)....one I can wear and one for a demon hunter that I stashed in case I make one on the console. It's the complete opposite of the way it used to be in the auction house days. I used to struggle to get any gear I could use and had to buy it all. Now I am constantly sorting through the gear I get to make sure it's not a little bit better. A good problem IMO :)

If you have friends on Xbox Live that play the game you'll randomly get legendary items (you don't know what they are....but that they are just legendaries) that are assigned to them and you mail them out (gifts). I've sent nearly 10 out, still waiting on my first one to be sent to me though haha.

If you liked D3 but hated the auction house/gold grind. Your issue has been removed. I believe this applies to the computer versions as well. But I don't plan on upgrading or playing it on the Mac again b/t the couch/controller/TV experience of this game has me hooked. So much more relaxing for this type of game. IMO

Good to know, thanks!

Working my way through The Last Of Us Remastered, then I have the Metal Gear Solid 5 to play as it was pretty cheap on a PSN sale, it will also help me decide to buy the full game or not when it's out. Plus I have the Infamous First Light DLC and the DLC for Outlast to play.

Going to sell my Watchdogs copy as I haven't touched it.

I have Wolfenstein coming from Gamefly.

I heard great things about it and the over the top presentation should be fun.

Resident Evil Revelations on PS3. Very old school, well done, I'm enjoying it much more than RE5! (Never bothered with RE6...)

Final Fantasy XIV, kind of replaced World of Warcraft for me as "off and on again" MMO since I started in October.

Outside of that I've been replaying Dragon Age: Origins & Dragon Age II to get ready for the third one :D

Just finished The Last of Us Remastered on Grounded. To be honest, it's not as hard as I thought it would be, it's just frustrating. NPC's getting in your way, stiff controls, horrible AI and the extreme rarity of supplies don't make this mode fun to play at all.

Hard mode was the perfect balance, but if I want to get that last trophy I'll have to play through Grounded all over again..

Sure enough, I am having problems with UEE.

I got to Act III.... but every time I try to enter Tower of the Damned from Arreat Crater (or from someone's banner in town who is already at TotD), the game crashes to dashboard. I posted my issue on blizzard's forum, but I have not heard back yet from them. It happens every time. I am contemplating whether I want to uninstall/reinstall the game, but it takes forever to install 22gb, and I am worried about losing my save file.

I believe your save file should be cloud based and linked to your gamertag/account on the Xbox One. Might want to check that.

I haven't seen that issue. D3 has run flawlessly for me on the Xbox One. Super fast. Maybe an issue with the install that might be corrected by what you suggested. Definitely check on your save file first though.

Currently playing Metro 2033 on the PS4, Fez on Vita and back on Fire Emblem on 3DS.

I have Wolfenstein coming from Gamefly.

It's incredible! Loved every minute of it. Currently replaying to unlock all the secret stuff.
