Ordered Unity today but after the disappointing reviews i'm thinking maybe i should get Last of Us instead and wait for Unity to decrease in price and for Ubisoft to release the inevitable patch next month.

Problem is i'm not really into scary stuff. Especially vermins eating my face whilst i helplessly bash the 'free me' button.

But people are raving about it and consider it the best PS4 game to date so i dunno...

Wait a couple of months to play Unity. Most of the negative reviews point to premature release (buggy). The response to the story and gameplay has been generally positive.

Yeah. Thats looking like the sensible option.

Ubisoft need to stop with the unfinished yearly releases its just tarnishing more than helping.

They've become far too greedy. I'm sure the same issue will plague FarCry 4

Agreed. Ubisoft needs to be at least somewhat more "it's ready when it's ready" attitude, because they're going down a dangerous development path.

I really enjoyed Last of Us remastered.. it came with the bundle. I wasn't expecting much but they did a great job of making me interested in the story and it played through nicely. I was disappointed when it ended, I didn't want the fun to end!

Currently playing NHL '15 and massively disappointed with EA Sports and this horrible release.

Currently playing Fantasy Life on 3DS. It's really good! It's like those free MMOs, but mostly single player and with very high production values.

What game are you playing currently?

Re: unity ...

Dragon Age is getting glowing reviews. Could get that instead.

Super Smash Bros on the 3DS

Star Wars the Old Republic on Windows

WoW on the Mac

Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze on the Wii U

Halo MasterChief Collection (Halo 1) and Destiny on the Xbox One

Dragon Age Inquisition is up next for me.

PS Vita:
Luftrauser - Addictive
Binding of Issac Rebirth - I'm not understanding the glowing reviews this is receiveing
Steamworld Dig - I love this game, very addicting

Bless

Gamefly is sending sleeping dogs definitive edition so looking forward to that.

I've heard good things and have never played any version.

Post us a review. Tempted to pick this up at some point as price is dropping for it on Amazon already.

Edit... Down to £22 on Amazon for the Xbox one edition, so I just bought it :)

Absolutely. I didn't played Binding of Isaac because I didn't like the controls on the original PC version, when they announced it for consoles I was really pumped. But I honestly don't see the appeal. Is it just 5 tiny dungeons generated one after the other as you collect items? I've only made it to the 4th level so I don't know if anything opens up and it gets loads better.

Luftrausers though. Really enjoy it, I just wish it wasn't stretched widescreen on Vita!

Yea it looks like a great game and we will find out together!

GTA V on PS4! Looks great apart from some pop-in, and the facial animation stuff seems very old now. Framerate seems a way more steady 30fps than the older PS3/Xbox version. Plays excellently on Vita too - you can even adjust the FOV so you can see a bit better on the smaller screen. Remote Play lag is unnoticeable too (GTA isn't the most responsive game is it!). Playing GTA Online from my Vita blew my little mind.

Ok too many games right now

Still playing Skylanders Trap Team on Wii U & PS4

Bayonetta 1/2
mario kart 8
Hyrule Warriors on wii u

PS4
Alien Isolation
Sherlock Holmes crime and punishment
Shadow of Mordor
GTA V

Xbox 1
Sunset Overdrive
Lego Batman 3
Sleeping Dogs
Diablo 3
Skylanders Swap Force (yep still playing)

Dragon Age, Far Cry 4 to come....

Last:
Bound By Flame (PS4): mediocre rpg
Mario Kart 8 (Wii U): I didn't play as much as I thought I would

Currently:
Infamous Second Son (PS4): almost finished good karma play through, great game!
Towerfall Ascension (PS4): For a quick arcade game fix, awesome game! This title alone made my PS+ memership totally worth it!

Next Up:
Some sort of Skyrim-like RPG for the long holiday break, deciding between one of the following, with Kingdom of Amular as front-runner:
Dragon Age: Inquisition (PS4) - Not sure I'll like tactical combat, I prefer skillful button mashing
Shadow of Mordor (PS4) - Not sure I'll dig the setting
Far Cry 4 (PS4) - FPS, not really RPG, but sure to be good.
Kingdom of Amalur (PS3) - Heard good things for this under-the-radar title
Dark Souls (PS3) - Not sure I can hang with the often frustrating difficulty factor
ES: Morrowind (Original Xbox) - Might wait and play Skywind if it ever gets released
Witcher 1 (OSX) - Loved Witcher 2 on 360, but no controller support for Witcher 1

Side grab and go games:
Smash Brothers (Wii U) and/or Bayonetta 2 (Wii U).

Advanced Warfare! too many campers!!! why can't people just run and not set up fire and cook some fish while an enemy passes by! why why???

Silent Hill 2 (hd remake )on PS3. Last time I played it was when it came out for PS2. Barely remember it, but so far I love it!

Playing it with the original voices! :D I hope the new Resident Evil remake will have the original voice acting as an option!

I chose "normal" combat and "hard" riddles - hope that wasn't a mistake! :)

I'm curious -- have you tried the multiplayer at all?

Not yet. I'm 3 hours in and just clearing off the quest to-do list. Why'd you ask? I could look into it if there's anything you want to know in particular (when I get to that stage of the game! They haven't mentioned multiplayer yet).

It just sounds like some great mindless fun, so to speak, as a single player game. If one could go online and cooperate with quests, that just sounds like a big random unknown that could enhance the fun & quirkiness.

I need a good game, but not one that requires a life commitment right now (or hours regularly per day). Of course, I should be playing more Smash Bros., but I always like RPG's, and good jRPG's.

Thanks!

Oh it is, it does some things that I really like and mixes together MMO and action-RPG gameplay. I love that it just lets me go off and do whatever I want on the world map. It's got a real sense of adventure like that. It's non-triumphantly making its way into my top 5 3DS game list!

Currently playing Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel on Mac. Going to resume The Legend of Zelda (OOT) on my 3DS XL soon before I 100% forget where I was...
