Currently playing No Man's Sky on PS4 and Pokemon Leaf Green on GBA. Recently hatched a load of eggs for a playthrough using Pokemon I've never used before, loads of poison, ice, and ghost types.

Metroid Prime Federation Force for 3DS...
That's on the gf's and my co-op list. Still playing through Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, then we've got that Final Fantasy 3DS one... THEN Monster Hunter X (is it called?) THEEEN Metroid Federation. I do love these types of games :)

I downloaded the Monster Hunter Wii U demo when it first came out. These Monster Hunter games are absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't get any of the monsters though - maybe because my character level was too low...

I played Quake a couple of months ago and it always gets me. Pretty harsh difficulty imo and the sounds are driving me nuts as well. But that game is just soo... <3

There was a super easy to install mod-collection to improve on the visuals, high-res and all. It's fairly popular and I can search for the name when back at home if you want me to.

You guys know there is a new Quake game coming by Id, right?

Yeah, I wound up downloading some big update for Quake that was community-based. It adds some updated visual, higher resolutions, and other tweaks. Also addresses the menu interface so you can change more things on the fly.

I wasn't aware of a new Quake game coming. I'll check into it.

Metroid Prime Federation Force for 3DS...

Awesome, just awesome...

(Hopes to be able to "slip the cart" in the NX, map on the controller, 3D glasses for a 3D Monitor for the main screen...) ;)

What are the controls like? I love Metroid but this doesn't seem exactly like what I was hoping for. However, trying to keep an open mind. Is it mostly multi-player focused?

Taking a break from Uncharted 4 and playing No Man's Sky instead.

I want to finish U4 soon though, I'm pretty far in. It's a good game, but they never quite reached the greatness that was Uncharted 2. The "Auction" mission early on was fantastic, wish they could have kept up that quality.

Great - one uses the Gyros (if you have a new 3DS, a 2DS, or turned off the 3D) and the other uses all buttons (if you don't want to move the unit).

It's in the Metroid Universe so I'm happy... :)

Its a great game! Fun is that you can have different paint schemes and some schemes depend on which Amiibo's you own to unlock them.

The 3D is done superbly! I like how transparent status screens and HUDs float above you, and looking into the environment has a lot of depth.

It is both multi and single player.

You can download Battleball for now to try it out....

Anybody got a recommendation re Lego Games on the Wii U? Thinking about getting one for the fun of it. Played a demo for one of the Marvel ones and it was only a so-so experience. Appeared super linear and I wasn't suspecting that but now I could imagine having some fun with it and leave it be afterwards. Note: City Undercover, while arguably the most creative of those wouldn't be my choice because of that since I really don't have any interest in open worldy stuff atm - ain't got nobody time for that!

Anybody played Star Wars or the latest Avengers one?

Got Overwatch for my son.... I play it more than he does.

How is it? I've heard it used to be fun but Blizzard has gone fulltime the nerf/buff road thanks to people in the forums constantly crying is that true?

Was looking forward to the new Quake game but thanks to the introduction of heroes I'm not interested.

Same here. Although less because of the heroes thing than the general lak of single player. I do understand why they do it but it's still sad. I'm willing to give it a shot depending on how they deal with cheaters. Those annoy me like nothing else and I'm super cautious about shelling out money for a mp-shooter.

In my opinion, all of the Lego games are the same. I've played through a few of them, and I'm done with them. I still never opened Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens. I originally purchased it so my son and I could play, and we're both taking a break from Lego games.

It's fun. I do wish there was some single payer action, or split screen two player versus AI that way the son and I could play at the same time.

Not sure on the nerfs/buffs, but it is one of those games where everything is normal and then one match no matter what you do you seem to be getting 1-2 shot by certain characters. Like Roadhog, he has this hook that pulls you in and then stuns you and then you get shot in the face by his shotgun. Insta-kill. That is one thing they could probably fix change by making his hook not reset as fast.

I still have fun regardless.

My biggest gripe is it can take up to 5 minutes sometime just searching for a match.

Thank you ...man splitscreen would be awesome so there is no way to play with my friends? Can't you just make a custom game password protect everything invite friends and then lower the resolution so you basically have 50:50 (splitscreen)?

I'm playing on the x-box, so no lowering of resolution. You can play with friends, but they have to be on their own x-box and then you can join games as a party.

Played the Marvels one for months with my little one. She loved it, but I found it quite repetitive. But that was probably the appeal for her (she's autistic).
However I enjoyed the laughs we had together.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (PS4)

I'm loving it, I've only played the intro but from what I played its very smooth...hate some of the button layout though, L3 to stick to cover is "bleh"

Bless
Went to buy it today from Gamestop but they had sold out of PS4 and XB1 copies.
