I thought when I bought the GOW bundle it included all of the games. I guess I was mistaken.
You have to play a bit of solo and a quick multiplayer of GOW ultimate and then you should receive an Xbox live message giving you download codes for each of the older games to download from store ..

Animal Crossing on the 3DS just received a huge update so I'm going to be playing that for a bit! Comes at a good time too - I started playing it whilst rewatching Breaking Bad so I managed to get all the boring stuff done. Excited to see what's new!

It contains the other games, but not the remastered version (i.e. "Ultimate Edition") of Gears 1. The download code will be for the Xbox 360 version. Still a great game regardless tbh.

Good to know. Thanks fellas

Currently Battlefield 1. Enjoying the multiplayer, but want to finish the story mode.

Probably will trade some games in and purchase COD:IW for the Modern Warfare Remaster.

Skyrim on PS4.

I used to absolutely adore this game. And I still love it but it does feel dated.

What annoys me is they remaster the game, release it, charge for retail but don't fix any of the bugs?

Even if the bugs didn't bother you or you used the exploits why not patch them? PC players wouldn't have to update if they didn't want too and current console owners couldn't play it anyway.

I feel a reasonable compromise would have been giving the option to abandon a quest so you can replay it if it bugs out. They already do this in ESO.

FINALLY got around to playing the RE7 Beginning Hour teaser. I liked it, actually makes me hopeful for the upcoming game!

Next up: Starting Dark Souls on PS3!!:confused:o_O:D

Started on Far Cry 4 yesterday. Pretty good so far. I like Pagan as the main bad guy. I think they could have come up with a better story. Best gameplay moment so far has been making an elephant charge through an enemy base killing all the bad guys while I sat back and watched the carnage.

Might have to pick up Far Cry 3 after I finish 4. From what I've read comparing them, FC3 has a much better story.

Played both and I would agree with this. Nothing better in FC3 than sneaking up and shooting the lock off a tiger cage, then the tiger running out and killing everybody in the enemy base!

I started Far Cry 4 about a week ago and am about 45% done in 22 hours and loving it. It was hard starting not being used to open world games but now I'm really into it. There is so much to do, and a good variety of missions. I haven't looked for any online hints or spoilers so finding people and places in the game has been really fun.

Started Life is Strange as I am try to work through some of my backlog.

Visually it is pretty bad and the voice acting is terrible but the concept and mechanics seem ok so far and I heard relatively positive reviews so I will try to work through it.

I want to play CoD:MWR too, but no interest in CoD:IW and not worth $80 to play just the one game, so I will be waiting for them to release MWR separate.

So, I bought the game and immediately went straight to the MW Remaster lol.

Started story mode on Infinity Warfare and so far, it's alright...

Still have to beat Battlefield 1's storymode.

Looking forward to Resident Evil 7 in January. I will have the PS4 Pro by then and look forward to testing the new console.

Dark Souls.

This seems harder than Bloodborne. And the controls don't seem as tight and responsive, I am struggling with that.

How do I regain health? Can't seem to find any power ups that do that. Found the first boss (Taurus Demon), but no short cut back to the bonfire? So I have to fight all the way through to him with no health power ups and no short cuts?

Titanfall 2 (Black Friday preview price was $35). Beautiful game. Campaign Story mode now...

Heck - what's up with the jumping and running on walls?

Why do they do this? I'm not very good at these "precision jumping games".

They did the same thing with TRON Legacy - beautiful game - if I can get through a section where you have to jump precisely and run on the walls and jump again...

Same with Recore (but seems a bit forgiving). I have an Elite Controller which seems to help a lot more.

At least I only paid $35 for Titanfall 2.

Currently stuck on Mafia III, trying to kill Sananderos (I think that's his name). So, playing The Division again (new update 1.4). Trying to remember all the bloody functions. So sad...

Estus Flask restores some health. It's limited in how many times you can use it - rest at bonfires to restore uses. You can upgrade individual bonfires to increase how many uses and reinforce the Estus Flask (with fire keeper souls) to increase how much health is restored per use.

It's a pretty short run to the first boss. There is a shortcut to the bonfire. I forget exactly how to get to it but its above the bonfire, there's a ladder you can kick down.

Thanks. Guess I haven't found or acquired said flask yet. I've seen the ladder above the bonfire, but there was no way to get to it on the way to the first boss (at least none that I have found).

The knight that lets you out of the cell in the first area should give the flask to you.

Just read up on it. Apparently, there is a glitched way to leave the asylum without ever meeting Oscar. And that is exactly what I did.

Guess I can fight my way back to the Asylum (is that possible?) or start the game over. :(

Start over. You do get to go back to the asylum but if I remember correctly it's very late in the game.
