Man, the performance of the PS4 Pro is just nuts. Sometimes it gets a little loud (nothing too serious), but dang the performance is really great.I'm afraid I'm partial to my PS4 Pro now. And the Scorpio in the Fall.
Any Resident Evil 1 experts here? Since the series has fairly good reviews I decided to start at the beginning. However, I'm already stuck and I have no idea what to do next![]()
That said, do you have any thoughts/experience with Metal Gear: Phantom Pain? I just started it and it's a tactical shooter. Curious if you have any thoughts/feedback?
Oh, How I Miss the GameCube days. (And Dreamcast).
Looking forward to E3 conference on June 13-15
Got 100% achievements in Dark Souls 3 today. Hadn't planned on going for all the achievements but I was pretty close after my 3rd play through so figured I'd go for it.
I'm about 1/2 way through my replay of Dead Space. This is my 5th or 6th time through it and it's still awesome!
Probably going to start a replay of Dark Souls 1 next.
Damn, nice one. 100% in DS3 is no joke. I'm working on the Ringed City DLC now.
I also started a playthrough of Dark Souls 1 recently. I still have a copy for xbox360 and decided to get down to business and finally finish that game. Currently at the Taurus Demon and what a sonofabitch he is.
Taurus Demon is a pushover, though. I killed him in 2 hits. Just spawn him in, run back to the ladder in the tower and plunge attack him. 2 plunge attacks should do it.
Oh I think I'm calling the wrong boss Taurus Demon then. It's the one with the super small fighting area in Undead Burg with two annoying dogs helping him attack you.
Just looked it up, it's the Capra Demon.
I have to say that is about the best game I have ever played. Terrific graphics, the gameplay mechanics were good, and the story was very engaging. I don't know how far in you are, but you get some other characters as your assistants you can deploy. One is a young lady called "Quiet" who never speaks, and you also get a dog. Lots of ways to deploy them to mix things up. Just an all around great game. You can play stealth of just go crashing in... your choice.
Ahh yeah, Capra Demon is annoying. Get rid of the dogs ASAP; make use of the stairs to try to separate them a bit.
Coming directly from DS3 to DS1 is a little jarring. The enemies in DS1 seem to be a lot slower in their attacks, slow enough that even I can parry them, lol. I miss weapon arts. I absolutely love how interconnected the world is in DS1 but I miss having bonfire warping right off the bat. Like right now I'm at the end of the Catacombs and I think Tomb of the giants is next plus the Nito fight. I don't really want to do that right now so I'll have to slog all the way back through the catacombs to get out. Ugh.
I'm holding out for a Dark Souls PS4 port. I didn't have a PS3 when it came out and a lot of my friends were really into it, so I bought it but never got around to playing it - and now I can't find the disc! But I've always wondered... is it linear? I've got it into my head that it's a modern version of Ghouls and Ghosts complete with a linear level structure, and that DS2 made it open world. I imagine I'm way off with all of this but I'm too scared to look it up incase I find spoilers!I would really love it if FromSoft remastered Dark Souls and Demon's Souls for the current gen systems. The slowdown in some areas is very jarring.
