Just started playing quite an old game called Lucius, cause it went super cheap on Steam. Although it's boring as hell, with a cut scene every minute.

Good time to pick up some backwards compatible games for the xbox one (xbox 360 games):

Xbox 360

Game Price
Tron: Evolution $3.74

Are these current sale prices? They're pretty awesome.

I got TRON on sale a year ago - nice to be able to play it on XBox One with the Elite Controller since this is such a precision jumping game.

I'm actually starting to play all the XB360 games I can on the XBox One with the Elite Controller...

I might just have to buy these! I've been thinking of replaying them anyway, but then I'd have to drag out the PS3 again and set it all up.. This way I won't have to :D

It obviously doesn't bother you, and I wish it didn't bother me, but it would drive me spare to have divided achievements for multi-plats (some achievements in Gamer Score and some in Trophies).

Yeah I stopped caring about trophies and achievements a few years ago. Glad I did because I had played some crappy games I wouldn't touch now just for the platinum trophy. Plus I've played some amazing games that I probably wouldn't have bothered with back then because they didn't have trophies.

Although going for the "Hard to the Core" trophy for beating Dead Space 2 on Hard Core difficulty is still one of my favorite gaming experiences. I doubt I'd try that again though as that was a PITA - had to start all over because I couldn't get far enough by my second save, first one was too early...ugh

Worst platinum ever was Rayman Legends. It took months to reach Level 11 Awesomeness.

Nice. I think I just have one boss left in the Ringed City before I'm finished and can start NG+. The Ringed City DLC is kinda nuts... I think for the most part the base game is kinda easy compared to it.

Yeah I've heard the Ringed City was tough. I'm at level 99 so I think I'm going to work on leveling up and upgrading some gear before I head into that.

Make sure you find all the good +3 rings. There are some pretty good weapons to find too.

I just found out how fun fight clubs can be! I never did play much pvp in the past Souls games but it's all I've been doing the last 2 nights. Lot of fun if people respect the rules, even just being a spectator can be entertaining.

Purchased Metal Gear Solid Phantom Pain today for the PS4. Never played it and I hear it's a highly rated game. Game plays at 60 frames at 1080 P, should Play smooth on my PS4 Pro/4K TV.

Awesome game so far. The various adversaries are pretty challenging and the story is a complete mystery so far.

I will be honest, I never invested into Verizon Dawn. What are your likes about the game and dislikes? I almost purchased it the other day and passed on it. But I'm still considering it. Any feedback would be helpful.

The main quest is excellent so far. I have yet to unlock the whole story, so there is still a lot of mystery. The game engine is solid, the robot enemies are well designed. The game is absolutely stunning and I have yet to play a more stable game.

As far as dislikes, the side quests are still pretty good if not a little formulaic. The secondary weapons are a little unwieldy. Also, the "stealth" aspect is a little foreign even to someone who has played a number of stealth games. The machines tend to find you.

Totally worth a try. It's so refreshing to have a game in a new universe come out and just be great.

Good news for Far Cry Fans and With the delay of Red Dead Redemption 2 until 2018, Ubisoft teased Far Cry 5 will have a western theme set in more of a modern era. (Imagine the movie setting for No Country for Old Men.)

The trailers are very intriguing and the official trailer is set to be released this Friday, May 26th. More to come at E3 as well.

Here is the teaser trailers. It looks awesome and at least offers something in terms of a western setting for those who were looking forward to Red Dead Redemption 2.

Injustice 2 (not mine but a friend's)

Excellent game graphics with some cool upgrades from the first one.

I really wanted to like The Surge and it has improved on LoTF but it's still TRASH. The enemy placement and the difficulty of each of them is a head scratcher to me...why are you putting four enemies in one tiny room with toxic gas behind glass inclosure waiting to be shattered by any sort of fight, your only option is to run but you can't because one enemy is waiting at the exit of said room and they instantly lock on to you and if you get caught then all of them gang up on you.

I can't recommend this game at full price, wait for a (flash)sale on this one...The combat has improved and the level up system is really good but they drop the ball with the forced difficulty and enemy placement.

For the love of souls-like games why can't any of them get poise right?! (I'm in the middle of a combo and they by pass it to take a swing at me...what?)

Bless

Any Resident Evil 1 experts here? Since the series has fairly good reviews I decided to start at the beginning. However, I'm already stuck and I have no idea what to do next :(

There are several doors that I can't open due to presumably needing items matching the emblems (sword, helmet etc). I've found a key on the third floor but can't pick it up because my inventory's full. I've also found a gem, which I suspect goes into the door under the stairs, but I can't pick that up either.

Google tells me that there's no way to drop items but that I can deposit them into an "item box", which is apparently in the same room as the typewriter, but I've been round and round the room several times and can't find any such box.

In case it matters, I'm running the PS4 version.

Help!

Edit: Crisis averted; I was able to put the shield emblem back over the fireplace and free up a slot. This hasn't actually helped me yet, but I was at least then able to pick up the blue gem (which didn't go under the stairs after all).

XB1 - EVERSPACE - still hard to read crafting screens on my Home Theater projector (just an XGA) - easier to play on a PC at my desk up close to a monitor/TV.

Switch - Arms preview - just a fighting game, controls would be better playing with the motion controls rather than the traditional - otherwise just button mashing. Would rather play Mortal Kombat if I play fighting... ;)
