I hate that I don't play many games anymore :(

But when I do play, I primarily play/replay Bethesda Game Studios' games. Right now I either find myself playing Skyrim or Morrowind (Morrowind from the early 2000's; not the expansion to Elder Scrolls Online).

Walking through the snowy tundra of Skyrim at night under the northern lights when this track comes on still gives me goosebumps:

Can't believe how f****** amazing GTA V is...

Started playing today and I'm already hooked. So so much fun! Love the story and characters so far!

Never a GTA game has wowed me like this one. The graphics and light effects are superb! Can't stop playing it!

Only two downsides are I wish the controls where a little bit better (so so hard to shoot while driving) and that all the voices are in english and having to read subtitles while doing a mission is very hard and I don't want to miss on anything the characters say...

I'm enjoying so so much every game I've bought for the PS4 I can't believe I've stayed away from videogames for so many years!!

Oh! And GTA V is so so huge it's impossible to remember every thing you can do!! How did you guys do it?

Oh my gaming life has since eluded me in the recent years. Back a few years ago I was an active League of Legends player, playing in their first month of release, October 2009.

Since then I've just been having quick games on my iPhone. Right now I'm just playing around in Roller Coaster Tycoon touch :)

What amazes me about Rockstar, the developer for GTA V, is how well the game still plays for being five years old. The driving, the controls, the dialogue, the smallest little artifacts and details in the game are still better than some of the most current open world games today.

What Really made the game magical, is Rockstar went back and remastered it for the PlayStation 4, which expanded on the lighting, weather conditions, traffic, and overall adding missions/additional content. There is a reason they are king for creating open world games. When you see reviews that compare GTA 5 compared to other open world games, it's because Rockstar is at the top, when everybody tries to emulate what they did five years ago in todays generations of open world games.

My favorite character is Trevor, absolutely hilarious. (Played by Steven Ogg from the Walking Dead).

I chose GTA V over The Witcher 3 on the last PS Store sale, but once I finish GTA I will buy The Witcher, hopefully for under 15€ (the digital version of the game of the year edition was 25€ on this last sale).

XB1: Prey Demo

Thank God for the demo...

Verdict: Boring.... (I hate games with long stories).

After the "getting up" and "taking elevators" and "moving boxes" - I was like, quit-delete....

;)

Switch: Snipperclips Demo

Verdict: Cute, not my type of game, deleted after not being "exact enough" with the clips...

PS4: PSVR Demo Disc

Went through the rest of the demos of games I wouldn't normally like - the only one I liked and got was Tumble - really neat!

I would agree about how well the game still holds up and the enhancements we saw when they ported it to the newer consoles. But I thought the 5 year old comment felt a little off, it's been a little over 3.5 years now. I'm sure it will still hold up just fine at 5 years, or even 7 years old though.

I need to get back into it and beat the story again, and play online and finally do a freaking heist. Haha.

I just started DMC: Devil May Cry on X1 and Puyo Puyo Tetris & Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows on the Switch. Need to find time to go back and complete KH1 on hard on PS3 so I can rush through on easy and get my platinum.

May the 4th (at home) - Star Wars Battlefront VR Mission (of course). Amazing!!!

Today - Zelda BOTW Switch (on the road). Awesome!

Everything else is just-plain-old compared to the Switch and PSVR...

(with the exception of the new 3DS XL.... ;)

:)

Ok, so finished Doom and just going back to get the collectibles I missed, then it's gone and I can get my 80GB back! Then it'll be the demo's I've got, then I'm not sure, have a fair few
Games to play.

Now that you completed Doom, what are your overall thoughts of the game and would you purchase a sequel if they made it? I think the game was a strong shooter and fairly intense, but heavily lacked any storyline and the redundancy from going from arena to Arena was the biggest short seller for me. Although, the gameplay was perfect for me and I highly anticipate a sequel.

Double Fine triple-play this weekend: Psychonauts, Grim Fandango and DOTT.

Why, oh why, did Double Fine not make Psychonauts a remaster when it was brought to PS4, especially with PN2 coming next yet? Other than DOTT, there wasn't a game that deserved it, or would have benefitted from it, more.

It's typical DOOM! But with bigger more open areas. Fun and tough and challenging FPS, that you think your nearing the end of and realise your actually only half way through lol!
Not sure about a sequel, the story was alright, it's install size is too big though I found and now have over 64gb space back!

Not sure if I'd buy a sequel, the online could be fun. I haven't tried it.

For me though I prefer Call Of Duty for the single player as it's fast action with a good story and short. My top fave shooter is Gears Of War though.

I see a new Quake or Wolfenstein has been rumoured, can't remember which but I know it was one of them. I think it was the latter.

Dishonored 2.

Downloaded the free demo that includes the first three missions of the game. That's all I will have time for anyway... :D

Started the first mission. I like how it starts, the game feels right, somehow more well-rounded and polished than part 1.

Demos are the way to go and I'm seeing more and more of those - it leads to people being happier with their purchase.

I wish there was a demo of Snake Pass - I'm having major problems with the controls.

I download the new Demo of Blaster Master for the Switch - glad I did - don't like the platform precision jumping type of games which this is. The demo just came out this week and I almost bought it right before (I had the NES cart in my collection way back and I remember getting rid of it). Glad I waited - the money went for Zelda BOTW instead... :)

Been playing the free weekend of The Division. Very addicting, I just might buy it if I could find a good price.

EDIT .. Just bought it for $20. :D
