Played some Far Cry 4 last night after not touching it for a year. Somehow, it doesn't speak to me like the two previous installments did. Too many hostile animals, it gets annoying.

Switched to Steep instead. Exploring beautiful mountains wthout angry critters mauling you every five minutes! :D

Thats how I felt about it as well. I think I got like 25% in and just gave up plus I was getting tired of having to fight off enemies in places I already liberated.

I want to get Salt and Sanctuary next to hold me over until Outlast 2 and The Surge is released.

Outlast 2? I didn't see anything on a potential release on this. Any links available? There is an unreleased 'Outlast Trinity.'

Just started Uncharted 3. Played 2 a long time ago and man was it fantastic.

Between time and kids it's been that long since I could get to 3. Very early on but seems to keep the tradition of the fantastic franchise.

Woo! have you played 4 yet or doing it in the proper order?

3 is great, but 2 is a REALLY REALLY hard act to follow.

I wish I took my time more, drilled through 1-4 in order in a condensed period of time, out of excitement of 'whats next?'

Naughty Dog delivers

Recently beat Rise of the Tomb Raider after putting that on the back burner for too long in between Uncharted and other games, and other systems,

its a beautiful looking 4k game on the pro, but so is uncharted4, and man, Uncharted whoops this Tomb Raider reboot sequel hard.

The Rise plot was really disapppointing. I don't remember the one before it, which I thoroughly enjoyed when there was a drought of xbox 1 games, having as crappy a plot in general

Working my way very slowly as you can see in order. 3 has started much slower than I remember 2 being but yes 2 was amazing.

I love the way 3 starts. Of course not as epic as 2 (nothing is), but the bar situation/scuff is just kinda fun and funny and straight onto the street from there

The flashback context is a cool plot too.

I think it perfectly sets the mood for the game.

I'm reasonably excited for The Lost Legacy at the end of this summer

Just finished Yooka-Laylee. I'm going to start the 2016 remake of Ratchet and Clank (don't know how I missed that) and Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap this weekend.

I haven't gotten much gaming done lately. Getting the garden ready and planted has been my free time priority recently. :D

I did finish Layers of Fear last weekend. That was a unique experience. I loved how the environment was constantly changing around me. A creepy game.

I'm planning to start on Dark Souls III tonight

Finished BOTW and Lego City Undercover recently. Man, having off TV play is such a god send to allow me to play things and free the TV up. Gives me so much more gaming time.

Switch has been off for a while until MK next week, bought myself Yooka-Laylee on the One.

Been disappointed so far. World's are too big, collectibles are a little too spaced out and tricky to obtain, hate all of the back tracking due to not being able to finish world's until you have the required move. Lots of little annoyances.

It has its charm, and i do like the game, but i have been disappointed. Will crack on with it tonight but I'm at world 4 at the moment (casino) and it's awful. Want to get it done and dusted asap so can move onto the next world.

I'm several hours into Dark Souls III. Been co-oping a lot and just exploring. Ready to take down the giant tree thing boss. I think I'm going to start a new character. I think I'm getting burnt out on melee only builds. I haven't tried a magic character since Demon's Souls, besides late-late game/NG+ in Dark Souls 1.
I'll give a sorcerer a try for something different. If I don't like it I might turn my current strength focused Knight into a Str/Faith build. I've never messed with miracles in any of the Souls games.

Dreadnought Open Beta for PS4.

They're doing a great job with it.

I was wondering how they are going to handle all the buttons required on a Capital Ship. They are making use of the PS4 trackpad - about time devs start using it...

Currently playing Tom Clancys Wildlands. For a tactical shooter, it's very authentic with the environments, Guns and sounds. The terrain is very detailed and wide open with vast views. I don't play online and this shooter ranks in the tops for me. (And I am fairly particular shooters and this game levels up nicely.) I really like how you can approach the enemy from various angles with multiple options to take them out.

After Wonder Boy and Yooka-Laylee left the bad taste in my mouth that they did, I decided to have a Rare weekend and dusted off my trusted N64. I played through Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, and CBFD. I can't be the only one that wants to wake up in the universe where Nintendo had the good sense to buy Rare instead of letting Microsoft poach its best second-party asset, and released the Banjo Kazooie Triple-Fret HD remake as a launch title for their powerhouse new console. Oh, on the same day that Lucasfilm announces UHD releases of the OUT due on the fortieth anniversary of Star Wars.

I've currently been getting frustrated with DOOM!! I got it cheap and want to finish it so I can uninstall it's frankly ridiculous 80GB install size to free space. But man it's getting harder, think I'm only just over half way too...

Not sure after DOOM what to play as I have a good selection waiting for me, think I'll spend some time in Forza Horizon 3. Or play through the latest COD but then I'll start the multilayer and never leave that for months haha...

Next one for me I think will be Prey. I remember the original and loved it, especially its mad mind bending gravity tunnels etc, where you walk all over the place!

Doom was a very challenging game and it never lets up the whole way through. But I enjoyed the challenge, even though the story line was non-existent. The guns were awesome and overall the game played very smooth at 60 FPS. I hope the sequel can offer more depth in a captivating story aside from the gameplay, which I enjoyed.

I'm at the Breath of the Wild endgame now, just wandering about collecting stuff to upgrade my clothes, finding the last few shrines, and hunting all the Koroks. I don't want it to end. Thinking I might just restart the game playing by some metagame rules. Like maybe my Link is going to be a vegan :D

Mario Kart this Friday though!

I got this game in my sights especially how PS Plus got a good sale on it now, I'm just a little bit nervous about it because its a Ubisoft open world meaning theres a lot of meaningless clutter on the map and I've been burn by them before with their online coop multiplayer. How's the single player, is it overwhelming or are you able to take your time and just do the main quest?

The single player is exactly what you want to make of it. You basically work your way up of this hierarchy of taking down drug under bosses to obtain to get to the main boss. You can attack the outposts in any fashion or with the use of a drone infiltrate.

There are helicopters, boats, airplanes for transport. There are loads of guns and modifications to your arsenal or character. The gameplay is smooth, but repetitive. I have not played online, so I can't attest to that. But overall, one of the best shooters I have played in while.

What difficulty are you playing?
