well between me and my fiancee...

ipad air 2
ipad pro 9.5
ipad pro 10.5

my fiancee has a samsung tab s 8.4 but since getting her air 2, then upgrade to pro it's not been turned on in 2 and half years!

my 10.5 pro see little use sadly as mostly on my phone.

ALL our tables are cellular BTW as all contracted devices.

iPad 2017 32GB (2017) with Apple Smart Cover.

It was my only device for about 6 months and i used it for everything. However, since I got the iPhone X and 13" MBP, it has been relegated to netflix/youtube in bed or some light gaming on planes. I find the iPhone move convenient for browsing or quick searches and the bigger screen on MBP for everything else.

Although, I still think the $329 entry level iPad is the best value in tech currently.

So, your main computing device is the iPad? You don't have a PC or iMac to supplement the iPad?
Mostly, yes, I do most everything from the iPad and my iPhone. It travels with me wherever I go, including work. I do have a gaming PC at home that I built last year but that's for gaming only. I have an iMac but that's for the kids - I don't go on there except for maintenance and I bought my girlfriend a MacBook last year because it's pink and she almost never uses it.
I took pride in that I could do everything i needed to do on my iPad but now I miss having a Mac laptop - I don't need one but I made the mistake of playing with the new 2018's at the Apple store.

I have a iMac to supplement the iPad which helps to have a larger display and a more mature OS to handle extensive tasks.

But I enjoy iOS and what the iPad has to offer, I believe it's the best products out of Apple lineup... the versatility it offers and the promise for what it has in store. It's the product I use the most. I've had a few MacBooks in the past.. but (for me) I prefer the iPad.

Yesterday I made the switch from 10.5 to 12.9. I always thought the 12.9 would be too big, but so far I'm loving the extra screen real estate.

I had a 1st gen 12.9 pro and sold it for a 10.5. I found it to be too big to use in bed...
(As someone who works on iOS software for a living and has tons of iDevices at work...) I agree. 12.9" Pro feels very big and heavy. One of the 12.9" Pros I have at work (the one w/iOS 11 on it) is in a case, which further adds to its bulk and weight. And w/o a case, it feels like it can be too easily broken.

I personally at home have an iPad Pro 10.5" (replaced an iPad Air) and iPad mini 2 that I got years ago. The 12.9" Pro wasn't even in the picture when I was looking for an upgrade from my Air due to bulk, weight and cost.

I had a 1st gen 12.9 pro and sold it for a 10.5. I found it to be too big to use in bed and I wanted a device to carry along with my Mac. The 12.9 wouldn’t fit in my bag alongside it. So far i’ve been so happy with my decision and have been using the 10.5 a lot more. Just curious what iPad most of you are using and why it works for you. :)

I have 512gb iPad Pro 10.5, in space gray. Love it!!

The iPad. As in the 2010 iPad 1. And then my iPad Mini 2. Wife has a Mini 4 I got her last year and loves it. Almost got rid of my Mini 2 but iOS 12 has redeemed it a little thankfully! Not fast, but not terrible either.

Had an Air 2 for a while and it was great! Just needed the money back when I sold it. If I got another it would be a Mini 5 that doesn’t exist or the 2018 iPad.

IPad 2018 128GB Wi-Fi only.

Super happy. Can't really see much difference between this and the Pro models. Screen is amazing, speakers are loud enough, speed is excellent, etc.

Only thing that could be better is RAM management, but then again those 2 extra GB of the Pro models are not worth 200€ more.

I agree with this. I have the IPP 10.5 and in a few years when I decide to upgrade, I will likely go with more of a "budget iPad". The extra power isn't really needed for my daily use.

I know this’s going to sound crazy but I actually own 4 iPads. I have 2 9.7 Pros and 2 mini 4’s. I use my one pro as my primary computer device and my other pro is dedicated to work. I work in child protective services so a tablet that types up notes, takes pictures of injuries, scans paperwork is really helpful. To supplement it I have a mini 4 which I take out for low priority cases and for brief follow up visits with the family. The 9.7 can get a little cumbersome in the field so something more portable is great. Finally my other mini is my exclusive e-reader for my ebooks, pdf’s, online articles and so on. And it’s small enough I can fit it in my pants pockets which is nice. They compliment each other very well and makes life so much easier to organize.

iPad Pro 9.7 LTE. The LTE has come in really handy when on the road, much more reliable than hotel/cafe public Wifi.

iPad 2018 128Gb none cellular and I love it. Pretty much replaced my MacBook Air for everything. Even managing my server :)

I have a Cellular iPad Air 128gb that is used for reading and the occasional streamed movie when I am cooking - my wife has a 1st gen iPad Pro 12.9 128gb cellular that she uses as her main computer and I have a 2nd gen 12.9 256gb cellular I use for work and a bit of home use. I love my iPads - great invention. I'm really interested in what comes next.

I have an iPad Pro 10.5 256gb cellular that mainly stays at home, and I just purchased an iPad Mini 4 128gb cellular last week to keep in my purse for on-the-go.

I have a 9.7" Pro. I'm not thrilled with it, battery life is really not good. I had the first Retina iPad before that (iPad 3). Before that I used a MacBook and now I'm thinking about going back to a laptop and grabbing a 2018 MacBook Pro. I'm waiting to see what the new iPad Pros look like in September and I'll make my decision then. If the new iPad doesn't blow me away then I'm going back to using a laptop.

Some similar thoughts here....
I have an Air2, before that an iPad Mini. Before that MacBook Pro 13" and then MacBook Air 11".
Besides desktops Mac through time, now iMac 27"

My iPad needs soon update, battery starts to be bad.
Started to dream about a 11" MacBook Air instead if a new iPad though. Miss a real keyboard.
Yet there’s a lot of stuff I still need the apps on iPad to. Or maybe not. I’m thinking about it, comparing small Mac vs. iPad. MacBook 12" is nice but rather a 11".
Or maybe it’s easier to write on a bigger iPad then 9’7"?
Lot of questions right now

We’ll see what September event shows.
