I used to have a 1st gen Air 32gb LTE. Upgraded it to mini 4 128gb WiFi.

My wife has the 9.7” Pro 128gb WiFi.

I basically do almost everything on my iPad, including games like PUBG Mobile, so I have to admit it would be nice to have a faster iPad with more RAM. I need a new iPhone this year, though, so I’ll probably wait until next year to upgrade again to a more advanced iPad too.

I had a 1st gen 12.9 pro and sold it for a 10.5. I found it to be too big to use in bed and I wanted a device to carry along with my Mac. The 12.9 wouldn’t fit in my bag alongside it. So far i’ve been so happy with my decision and have been using the 10.5 a lot more. Just curious what iPad most of you are using and why it works for you. :)
iPad Pro 10.5 512GB

6th Gen (2018) iPad. 128 GB. Wi-fi. Space Grey.

I use it for web surfing, social media, email, YouTube and Netflix, messaging, and light productivity such as reading and editing documents.

Gen 1 128GB 12.9’’ iPad Pro. I have been toying with upgrading it this year, however iOS 12 beta brought some very noticeable speed increases to this device. Unless the new iPads are truly groundbreaking (which I doubt, the full potential of this device is still limited, in my opinion by running a mobile OS.) I may just hold onto this model for another year or so. Maybe weigh options as Black Friday and the holidays approaches. We’ll see

Well, the 10.5 is one if a kind. But technically it is the 2nd generation, with 9.7 iPP being the 1st generation.
Not sure what you mean by “technically”. If anything, “technically” they are different devices with different dimensions etc.

iPad Mini 4 & it has served me well since 2015. I have owned larger iPads in the past (original, iPad 4, iPad Air 1). Totally love the size of the Mini, but as an updated Mini appears to be looking less & less likely this year, I will probably get the rumoured ultra slim bezel iPad Pro, probably in 11inch size, but I am tempted to go all out to 12.9 (one extreme to the other, i.e. Mini to 12.9!).

Hoping that next year, we will see an ultra slim bezel version of the 9.7” iPad, which will be effectively be the ‘new’ Mini.
