Just upgraded from the 256GB XS Max to the 12 Pro Max and am really liking it. The similarity in size was a little surprising - I thought the 12 PM would feel larger but it doesn't.

iPhone 6 64GB - original battery and display.

It still does the job for me. So, yes very happy.

I've got every iPhone up to the 8 but the one I use all day, every day is the iPhone 6 Plus on iOS 9.
Why?
Because that combination has either a bug or feature (depending on how you look at it) that lets me do something extraordinary that is impossible with the newer phones and newer versions of iOS. No it's not jail broken. So my 6 Plus has a worn out lightening port that makes charging a challenge and most websites don't work in iOS 9 - but I'll never stop using this combo until the phone goes belly up.
If I need to go to a website that misbehaves on iOS 9, I use my MacBook on Catslins

iPhone 12 PM - love it. This phone has the best reception I have ever had. I have not had one dropped call. My last phone was an Xs Max. I loved the phone but I always knew where it would drop a call when I was driving. But with my 12 PM it never misses switching between towers or holding a call in a low signal area.

I am on 11 Pro Max 64GB. The phone is fine and works great but I am not happy about the screen size coming from X. Even after a year of with the Max size phone, I am not comfortable with it. I attempted to downsize to 11 Pro, but for some reasons the screen felt way too small, so I decided to suck it up for now. Wife is still on 8 Plus, so at this point, I am going to upgrade to 12 Pro, and pass my 11 Pro Max to my wife.

iPhone 12 mini 256GB blue. Love it. It’s just like my old X/XS but significantly smaller and faster. Speakers are, surprisingly enough, better as well. Better camera too. This is really my dream phone. Very close to perfection, hehe.

I’ve been a mobile phone geek since the ’90s, and a smartphone geek from around 2001 (years before the iPhone and the App Store). I’ve had more phones than I can remember, with different OSs. As for iPhones I haven’t had any since the 3GS - until the X was released. That’s when I stopped seeing iOS as too restricted/limited. My favourite smartphone OS is still BlackBerry OS10 (and older Symbian OS versions), but the lack of app support killed it. I like Android about as much as I like Windows... messy and buggy. You pay a premium for Apple products, but IMO it’s worth it in the long run, because they last for years and years.

On the 11 Pro Max. I had major phone envy when the 12 first came out, but I think I successfully avoided giving into temptation! I wanna pay this one off so I can trade it in/sell it when I upgrade next year and lower my monthly bill.

5G isn't a selling point for me yet, but 120Hz would've been. Oh well! This phone is amazing, and I love not having to worry about the battery. The 12 series is definitely beautiful, though. Excited for the design next year.

I think the new modems are the best part of the new 12 series.

iPhone XS 512GB. I’m very happy with it. Was sold on upgrading to a 12 Pro Max but with the late release this year decided to stick with the XS. I figured by the time I ordered the 12PM and received it, the next iPhone would be less than 10 months away.

Now that the 12 series is out I'm just curious what phone are you guys currently using going into 2021. If you didn't upgrade how is your old phone holding up? I have the 12 Pro Max but having slight buyers remorse as I feel my XS Max could have easily lasted another year or 2
My present phone is the iPhone 11, I had every intention of buying the iPhone 12 pro Max but decided to wait and see peoples reviews before buying it but after reading of a lot of various different problems I’ve decided to wait for the 2021 iPhone which I’m assuming will be an “S” in which case it’ll look and feel exactly the same but hopefully with present niggles ironed out and hopefully a bigger battery 👍

Using my launch day iPhone 7, changed the battery 2 years ago and it’s at 91% health. Really impressed with how well it still performs, though battery life is not great any more. Very tempted with a 12 mini but might hold on one more year to see if they can squeeze more battery in when they’re not held back by first gen 5g hardware

Been using the 12 Pro since launch and I'm very happy with it overall. No regrets or buyers remorse. If the Max was released at the same time as the 12 and 12 Pro, I would have given it consideration for the extra camera stuff and bigger battery but I really didn't want to wait the 3 weeks and I'm not sure how much I would have liked using a huge phone.

Iphone 11 Pro and very happy with it. The size is close to perfect to "one-hand" if needed. I might upgrade to 12Pro, but I am not in any real hurry!

Went from my 11 Pro Max to a 12 Pro Max but found it too heavy and unwieldy. Replaced it with the 12 pro and I love it. Not too much difference with the screen size and I tend to use my iPad for internet browsing

iPhone SE, original version. I did think about upgrading to the 12 mini, but as I now work from home, and don't go out due to the pandemic, I barely use my current phone. So I'm holding off for a while. The SE does everything I need.

I think thats the case with alot of people. They aren't going out or traveling as much so they don't need the absolute best camera or best battery life in a phone. If you're home most of the time your current phone should be just fine.

iPhone X. Working flawlessly since November 2017. Everything original with a battery capacity of 90% after three years of constant use. Tried the 12 Pro Max but the display was not up to par with my iPhone X.

iPhone 12

very satisfied

tried all of the 12 models, and this was the sweet spot for me

had 11 Pro prior. Would have been happy with that phone as well. Prior to that, had a X. Also could have been happy with that but passed that on to a family member

have and SE 2020 as a secondary device and it’s fantastic too.
