6s in Rose Gold with 128G that I inherited from my daughter a year ago--have had a 5s for 6 years before that and was pretty happy with it too although it started to slow down in switching apps limited to only 1 GB RAM but at least it had the newly stylish again square edges haha. The 6s works great, is fast enough, the size is handy, it does pretty much all I need it to do and I like the touch ID. It's getting on and I can afford to replace it and so was looking forward to buying one of the 11's last year (and passed) and then the 12's this year (and passed again). Frankly I don't find the new ones all that compelling, except for the cameras on the top end one. Think I'll wait until they bring back a touch ID, and focus on long battery life possibly with more efficient display technologies. That's mostly what I care about--good battery and great cameras. Now if they put in a good long periscope telephoto, plus a new high res closeup lens along with the existing wide angles, and made them all sensor shift for shake reduction, bumped up all the resolutions to 18 or 24 Mpixels and put in the fast sub mm 5G modem instead of cheaping us out like they did (that was annoying at their premium prices) and still managed to keep it fairly compact, then I'd definitely be tempted haha.(Don't want much, right? haha) Until then, my 6s suits me just fine. (And hey I'm not a Luddite--I also have a decked out sweet 16" 2019 MBP--8 core I9 with 64 GB Ram, Radeon Pro 5500M, 2TB SSD and have been early adopting all kinds of Apple stuff for 13 years). So instead I got the 6s a new screen protector and a $10 case--clear this time and the previously hidden Rose Gold looks great, almost feels like a new phone haha. Will get the battery replaced and we're good to go for another year or two. With money saved I am going to buy a battery powered chain saw (gas one getting too hard for me to pullstart) for half the price of a new iPhone 12 and donate the rest to the food bank. Because COVID disruption is making a lot of our go people hungry--one in 8 I think I heard today, which is terrible. Sorry Apple, maybe 2021 or 2022.
