Have an XS max as a daily driver and a XR (don’t really use). Totally unsure of whether I will upgrade this time. A better camera is of no interest and I’m not sure I’d even know if it had a faster chip, my current phone is so snappy. A pen would be nice but I’m not sure I’d really use it. I will probably give my dh my xr (he’s been rocking a 7 for years) and hold out to see what the new ones have. I am, however, salivating over a new watch. I use mine to death for everything.

iUP and AppleCare are both brilliantly marketed. It seems like most people believe these save the consumer money when they both actually end up costing the consumers more money.

I don't see how the IUP "costs consumers more money" than any other purchase. In fact, with regard to the price of the phone itself, it saves the consumer money because instead of paying the full amount on day 1 the purchase price is stretched out over 24 months at zero percent interest.

Not going to lie, there's definitely a part of me that wants to upgrade. The bigger battery, Night Mode, Slofies, Super Wide Camera, Matte Finish, 6GB RAM, etc...

Now that I see trade in is only $600 for my 256GB Xs Max from Apple, that's no Bueno. Only way now I'll be upgrading, if at all is if T-Mobile offers more for my Xs Max.

I'm big into aesthics, and against all odds I actually think iPhone 11 Pro delivers. Enough for me to take more than a $400 dollar loss... No, but the device is somewhat compelling.

iOS 13 has turned the Xs Max into a beast however, and I'm not pressed at all. Too, I want to see in person before passing final judgement. Again, not pressed.

I have a 6S plus.
since I don't have money to burn and the phone is still working and I don't like the Face ID it seems it will have to last for another year

I recently downgraded from the iPhone Xs to a more convenient iPhone 8. I don't need the "bus stop" at the top, let alone the Face-id which was more of a hassle in situations where the Touch-id flows like butter.

I tend on keeping this at least until the next release of iPhones in 2020, if not longer.

I’ve got an XS Max and am seriously considering downgrading to a regular 8. It’s just reports of the battery life that are putting me off, how are you finding it?

iPhone 8+ two years in and still going strong. I hope to get two more years (or more) out of it. My boss is still using a 16GB iPhone 6 which is crazy.

I have a 6 now. The price drop on the XR was right in line with what I was expecting. Might splurge though and go with 128GB instead of 64 (even though I've hardly come close to filling up the 64GB on my 6 as is)

I have an iPhone X 256, debating if I want to upgrade to 11 Pro or not.
I love my X but the battery life is killing me, it started out so strong but now I can't get through a whole day without recharging it at some point.

Basically I need to decide if a better battery and better cameras are worth $65/month LOL

iPhone SE. Still works perfectly and does what I want it to do. Love the screen size and it easily fits in my pocket. Waiting until this thing completely dies or becomes obsolete. Hoping Apple will make a similarly sized iPhone SE2 with edge-to-edge screen. Can't stand the size of phones today.
SE was originally introduced because of a glut of outer shell 5s and leftover internals iphone 6s

Well.. Picking up the Pro Max.. Replacing the XS.. Will go for the 64GB option since I haven't filled up this XS yet.

XS 256Gb. Doesn't have the greatest reception where I live (Ozarks) but I've got wifi out the wazoo; and I'm more than happy with it for now. I don't need what I consider to be a fairly large iterative update.

7 personal, 8 work. Waiting for a notchless phone to upgrade my personal phone... hopefully in 2020.

I was curious, the trade in value for my XS Max from Apple is $600, I did not expect that amount.
The 11 Max Pro would only cost $499 (64gb model...which is fine with me)

Hmm.....

I also checked the trade in value for my Apple Watch 4, 44MM Stainless Steel. $110.00?!?
Ouch...nope!! I'll keep it.
The Apple watches devalue so much!
