XS Max, on the upgrade program so getting the 11 Pro Max.

I loved the XS Max, I’ve had every iPhone except the original and this has been my favorite upgrade over its predecessor since the 4 over the 3GS.

Using the 8 plus since my X's battery is at 82%.
I'd upgrade to 11 Pro Max but it's ugly I don't feel it this year.

XS Max and I’ll be upgrading to 11 Max Pro. I have owned every iPhone, with the exception of the 8...because I got the X instead!

Since the price per month is exactly the same as I am already paying for my XS Max, I decided to go for it.

Even if the camera is half as good as they say, it'll be pretty darn good.

I went from 6 Plus to 7 Plus to X. I really like the smaller size of the X--just great for one-hand use. Tomorrow I am going to order a 11 Pro.

Wife and I are on the upgrade program with XS Max’s but I don’t think we’ll bother upgrading this year. We’ll keep these and see what comes out next year and maybe sell them if we like whatever it is since we’ll own them then

I had an X from Nov '17. Gave that to my wife and got a Galaxy S10+ in March. Got over it by July and sold it, then bought an XS. I think I'll stick with it until next year.

I bought the 8+ in Sept 2017, but then just up and decided to get the X that same day - Fri. Nov 17. (Figured I'll just sell the 8+) Although I did enjoy the new design of the iPhone...I simply could not get used to the smaller size. -And that "notch" never bugged me as much as I thought it would, that was a non-issue. Anyway..since Apple had this extended return policy to 3 months back then, the X became more of a "test drive." By the end of Dec. and not being able to unload my 8+, I just decided to return the X on Jan 5 for a full refund...and hoped the rumors - at the time - of a large X "plus" size would come true. It did...I upgraded to XS Max. I'm sticking with this for another year.

As for the Samsung S10, the new Note. I admit they are really nice looking. But I absolutely hate the Android OS, not sure if I truly trust the Samsung brand in cellphones. IDK, many of my friends like them..I simply owned iPhones since June 2007. Only has minor problems with iPhones in this time period, both 4, 5 and 6+...after 20-22 months of owning this, the battery inside began to "balloon / bulge" pushing out the screen. It needed a battery ASAP. That's about it.

I have the X and am upgrading to 11 Pro mainly due to the decreasing battery life of my X and the new camera.

I made a decision at 8am today to upgrade to the 11 pro 512gb.
I currently have a iPhone X 256gb and decided to upgrade for the better battery, better camera (and better camera modes) and the green color looks amazing.
I plan to give my X to my wife (who is still on a 6 Plus) and she will be very happy. I am going to look into getting the battery replaced at apple because its been getting worse and worse.

I have the XR and I love it. Amazing phone and the battery is awesome. I do think I will be upgrading to the 11 Pro Max however. The battery life surpasses that of the XR/11 and I get the cameras. I buy iPhones for the camera as much as the ‘phone’. The green will likely seal the deal. I am in no rush as I am in the AUP.

6s 128gb still going strong. Don't see any problem with keeping this phone through 2020 (and 2021 if I have to) even though ios13 will be the last update.

Beyond making calls, iMessage, Safari and Google Maps...I don't need anything else and all that should continue to work past ios13 so I'm absolutely fine. Don't use Apple Pay, financial/banking apps/etc on my phone so my risks will be minimal even when Apple officially drops support,

I figure by 2021, Apple will have added full 5G support and hopefully bumped up to 126gb base. Notch may still be there unfortunately, but if on-glass TouchID is implemented by 2020/2021, I don't see why I won't buy the 2021 iPhone.

I have a Matte Black iPhone 7 Plus 128gig in nearly perfect condition.

I replaced the battery last year for 30 something bucks and it currently has 98% battery efficiency.

I'll probably wait to see some in depth reviews of the Pro. I'm mainly intrigued by the upgraded camera, but don't really like the Face ID/notch.

If I sell my current phone, put it towards the Pro, it still costs about 400 to use it for the year (with monthly payments) until the redesign in 2020. Assuming you sell the Pro to get the 2020 iPhone and sell at 70% of its initial value, you'd still owe $700 on the 2020 iPhone assuming a 999 price tag. Seems like quite a bit of work and costly to use the phone for a year, pay $400, and not keep it - I read alot of threads with people doing that.
