Had an iPhone and only spent about 5 bucks on Apps with left over cash from gift cards. Went back to a flip phone since I can't stand carrying little bricks around like smartphones are. Didn't like it in the BB glory days in 05' and don't like large phones now. If I was to get another brand of smartphone I would spend nothing on Apps and not marry into any ecosystem.

Same with music and movies. I only buy physical copies and will only rent or stream movies and music will NEVER buy "AKA glorified rental" from Amazon or iTunes F that.

XBOX I have spent about $400-$500 in DLC and arcade games but I accepted the "glorified rental" thing in my head before doing so. No longer buy DLC, I just wait for GOTY editions for most games now. DLC made me wait a year so I get a $60 game for $20-$30 with all the DLC so I actually save about $70 bucks since the 60 goes to 100 really quick.

Macbook Pro 13" currently but I am thinking of going win7 desktop while I can still. Don't like this cloud BS future and can avoid it with win7 for another almost 8 years and will avoid it as long as I can. Windows will have physical copies of all software I need for years to come. Download only is a future I dont want, and governments should not even allow it without some strict rules on businesses. IMO

Might keep the Mac but not really sure about yearly OS updates and Apple got so big so fast and I find it best to avoid the HOT companies for various reasons. (See all the BS Apple does for reference)

Phones: iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, Nexus 4
Tablets: IPad 2, iPad 3, iPad mini, Nexus 7
Computers: Mac Mini Server, MBA

And a handful of iPods

I'm the only one using Android, rest of family is all iOS--easier for me to manage the devices and they're familiar enough with the OS, especially the tech adverse wife. ;)

Well only really gone all Apple in the last 12 months to be honest but have the following :

iPhone 4
iPhone 5
iPad 3
iMac
iPod 6th
iPod 7th (coming at Xmas)

Fancied a more portable tablet that was cheap which I could take to work with me so purchased a Nexus 7 at the weekend.

First Android product I've owned and must say I'm very impressed, even more impressed with he price. Quite a lot cheaper than the iPad Mini (32gb) and does everything I want but at a price where I'm happy to stick it in my work bag (all be it in a case). :)

Smartphone: Samsung Galaxy Nexus
Tablet: iPad 3gen
Laptop: 13" Air
Desktop: Windows Vista (at work)

My phone syncs contacts, calendar and photos through gmail and dropbox. My main workflow is between Air and iPad. I often just use my Air at work, next to the Windows desktop.

Sold my MBA over the summer and went with a desktop + tablet configuration.

Desktop: 21.5" iMac and Dell XPS w/ i7 Sandy Bridge (haven't booted up the Dell in months)
Tablet: 3rd-gen iPad
Phone: Nexus 4 (came from iPhone 5, which is currently in the box)

The screen size and weight of the Nexus 4 are just enough to replace my iPad as the primary web-surfing device at home, so I may sell the iPad in the near future, or downsize if/when Apple releases an iPad Mini with Retina display.

Phone: SSG S3 (got it on craigslist for for $300 about 4 months ago), have an "unlimited" data plan on VZ, so I pay full price for my phones, have been looking for a used VZ iP5 at a reasonable price, still haven't found one.

Tablet: 16GB Mini Verizon (have had a handful of Android tablets, the Mini is best of breed IMHO) I have a couple of full size iPads, will be selling them, the Mini is perfect for me, I can stick it in my back pocket and use it for everything I used a full sized iPad for.

Laptop: 13" 2011 MBA and a 17" Dell Vostro 1720, maxed out with memory and an SSD.

Have had windows stuff forever, just started using Apple, bought the stock and made so much $, I figured I'd pimp for them :cool:

Mac Mini i7 (latest model) with 24" Apple Cinema Display
Asus VivoBook touch screen windows 8 laptop
Nokia Lumia 820
PS3
Vita

Getting a 2nd laptop soon, either an i7 11" air or some kind of windows 8 laptop if anything cool comes out (maybe surface pro who knows)

I'd love to see this thread resurrected and see how people's ecosystem usage has evolved, especially with all the new shiny toys out there.

Currently:
* Custom Build Desktop PC
* MBP 2018 15"
* iphone XS max
* iWatch 4 lte
* wireless carplay in truck

Might switch out the custom build for the mac mini, but not sure I get anything out of that other than having "all apple devices".

PC Laptop
Chromebook
Pixel 3 XL

First time in a long time I haven't had a mac, but I just don't do enough to justify it and I have my pc laptop to do the 5% of things I can't do on Chromebook.
