Phone: iPhone XS
Laptop: I have a Lenovo Thinpad 13 from work which I am using for both person and work right now.
TV: Apple TV (non-4K)

I plan to get a desktop soon, but I'm undecided if I'll go with a Mac Mini 2018 + LG Ultrafine 4k or a custom built gaming PC. The spec of the gaming PC would blow away the Mac Mini for the same price. The Mac Mini would be on MacOS my preferred OS and the UF 4k is a very nice monitor for someone who spends majority of their time using a browser/text editors/office/mail.

Mine is essentially a work in progress...

MacBook Pro
iPad Pro
Pixel 3 XL
Google Home Mini
Sonos One
Fitbit Charge 3

I've only eliminated my HomePods, iPhone XS Max, and Apple Watch S4.

How do you like using the Fitbit Charge 3 over the Apple Watch 4?

I have an Apple Watch Series 1, and I was considering upgrading to a 4, but for the price, the Charge 3 really does most of the things I want. I want a good fitness tracker and basic notifications. I never respond to texts on my watch or make phone calls. I don’t ask too much of Siri because it’s way too slow on the Series 1 and I have Google Home minis in my house to control the lights and stuff.

So, how is the fitness tracking on the Charge 3? And is there some added motivation to it, like “closing the rings” on the Apple Watch?

Honestly the fitness and sleep tracking are the best qualities. It seemed to be accurate in all areas. You’ll get fireworks on the display at 8k and 10k, but nothing like the close your rings that Apple does.

The notifications are (in my opinion) an afterthought. And here is what I mean by that: With the Apple Watch, when you receive a notification, the watch is the only thing that either vibrates or dings. With the Fitbit (on either platform) both the phone and the Fitbit will vibrate. And usually a second or so apart. Not a fan of that, personally. YMMV, of course.

Personally, if you’re on the iPhone, the Apple Watch just cannot be beat. I’d love to find a better sleep tracking app for it. I’ve tried Pillow and...one other....made by the people that make HeartWatch. I can’t recall the name currently. But neither one was what I would call “stellar”. Also, another point for the AW as it syncs to Apple Health and all of those metrics. The Fitbit does not do that, even though Apple has made the health API open for all developers.

I don’t really qualify as I have mostly Apple products but I have a few non Apple devices.

Phone: iPhone XS Max
Tablet: iPad Pro 10.5, iPad mini 4, fire HD 8
Computer: MacBook Air 11 inch 2014
Watch: Apple Watch series 3
TV: Apple TV 4, Chromecast, fire TV stick
Smart speakers: HomePod x2, echo, echo dot, Google home mini

Back in 2012 when this thread started:

Phone: Samsung Galaxy note (original), iPod touch 5th generation (not a phone)
Tablet: Samsung Galaxy tab 2 10.1, Nexus 7 first gen
Computer: Dell inspirion 15 inch, Samsung series 3 chromebook
TV: Apple TV 3

My next computer will be a chromebook. Like you I can’t justify a full computer anymore as I’m not using my Mac at all.

Well I’ve gotten another echo dot, another google home mini and a Samsung Galaxy S5 so I guess a qualify now :p

I have a

PC Laptop
Chromebook
Pixel 3 XL

First time in a long time I haven't had a mac, but I just don't do enough to justify it and I have my pc laptop to do the 5% of things I can't do on Chromebook.
Rare self-quote. Moved on from the Pixelbook. Sold it for the same price I bought it for. The thing is, I wanted just a little more out of my computer. As a result, I'm pretty mixed up now

Dell Work Laptop
13" Macbook Pro
