What kind of battery life would be acceptable to you guys?

I'm hoping we here more about the battery life before they go on sale. i'm a tech junkie and would love to get my hands on one. I would be seriously disappointed to have a watch last no more than 12 hrs.
My Pebble lasts about 5 days. I would need at least that as already I feel annoyed when I have to charge.
Do you charge all the devices in your home that use a battery every night?
If not, would you like to ?
I don't think I would mind charging it every night. I just wouldn't want a watch that is dead 8-10 hrs into my day. The only thing that gets charged every night would be my phone. iPad is once a week or so and beats headphones once every couple weeks depending on usage.
wait so you always complain about how ****ING RIDICULOUSLY THICK the apple watch is at 12.4mm and you also complain about the battery life being too short?
it seems like you should just go to another forum man, maybe the one that talks about the future.
Two days minimum. Apple is sitting on a mountain of money. Let them invest (and lead) in battery life and make something we all want.

A 'mountain of money' can't change physics. You may read something about new battery technologies but there is nothing NEAR market ready for the foreseeable future to replace lith-ion. Also Apple is not usually the first compony to field untested technologies, especially with the number of devices they must account for if there are problems. The aWatch will contain lith-ion batteries for at least several generations.
Before posting I suggest you read, which is a skill I have seen you have trouble with, so I shall keep this simple so you can grasp it

Which seemed silly to me, saying how something lasting more than a day would be pointless.
To which I replied that if you applied that in general it would be a pain as you'd not wish to charge other items daily, so why suggest more than a day is pointless.
Why make special exception for 1 device when you expect more of others?

12 hours doesn't cut it. Think about it. If I leave the house at 6:45 am that means my watch is dead a little after dinner. That's a no go. Probably needs a minimum of 16 and realistically more like 20 for the odd long day or heavy usage. Ideally, when it is plugged in at night, it isn't at zero. A watch can't have the possibility of dying on you.
I'm totally guessing here of course.
But from a marketing and PR point of view, I'm sure Apple would love to be able to say that the watch, under normal every day use, should have a similar battery life to your iphone.
That may be totally unrealistic, and of course, it's going to vary with use, and of course we have the initial play with my new toy factor which always kills batteries on anything new we buy.
But I feel that would look and sound good from a marketing standpoint.
Naturally, like anyone else, I'd love the Watch, the Phone and the iPad to last AGES, but we're not there yet, and not looking like we're going to be there any time soon, unless something amazing comes out the woodwork unexpectedly.
Given the size of Batteries, esp on the iPad, Apple could I suppose offer what Samsung has, and allow the much smaller watch battery to be charged direct from another device if you wished to do so.
