I have a LG7000 right now... great for games. Can't wait for the LG9800

(ok, I am biased, I make mobile games for a living :D )

I have the Motorola e815 for Verizon. It syncs with iCal and Address Book via BT right out of the box. With a couple clicks on the keypad, dial-up networking via BT works perfectly. A seem edit (which takes less than a minute), now allows me to transfer music, movies, pictures to and from the phone via BT. It even works as a mp3 player with the right headphones.

whoa, I have a V710 and I know it's quite similar to the e815. Do you know if it is possible to do transfer music, movies and pictures like you are able to? I've been looking for a solution for a while. I'm mad that Verizon has to be so difficult and limit our phones sooo much.

i've got two SonyEricsson phones - a P900 and a K750i. I love the P900, never had a better phone. suprisingly rugged (it spent 30min at the bottom of a puddle and still works fine!), and looks good. Not to mention the immense features, and Salling Clicker :D

The K750i is nice, especially the 2 MegaPixel camera, but unfortunately the joystick has crapped out on me twice. I'd still recommend it, but the P900 is far and away the best phone on the planet, ever. in my opinion.

(well, mines quite a few years old now and a little worse for wear)

In fact, I have been advised 'never to get that thing out in front of a client again' so I'm thinking of getting a P990

encoding video for smartphone use

I found this program that is very nice. You all might already know about this program, but for those who dont, and have a smartphone it's called ffmpegX. I was able to encoded a 700M avi to 200M, and loaded it to my phone. The quality is super. I also encoded several TV shows to about 70M. Right now I have three 30 min tv shows, several video clips and a movie on my phone, which has 512 of external memory. This program is a must have and it's FREE!!

the phone i have is a Motorola MPx220, and it's the best phone EVER!
