Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Avengers
Both on my list to rent.
Just watched Peggy Sue Got Married- as good as I remembered it.

I thought the acting was great, the effects were obviously cool, and it was just fun. People not familiar with Captain America's history probably don't realize that it is rooted in WWII.
The Avengers trailer was cool and hopefully the movie will live up to the hype. Marvel has done a great job of setting the stage for the story. Honestly, they've done a masterful job in general of transitioning their universe and it's characters to the big screen. If they pull of the Avengers then the possibilities are truly wide open.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes - I actually went into this movie with really low expectations. I figured it was going to be really dialogue heavy and about 30 minutes of action at the end. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this wasn't true. The movie does an excellent job of staying interesting throughout the entire thing. Compelling story, great CG, great movie. I was really expecting this one to be a bust but it was really awesome.
Just went to the change up last night. I was expecting less and was pleasantly surprised. Olivia Wilde is smoking hot and the movie was pretty good. Predictable but still really funny.
There's some very powerful scenes in that movie. The home invasion @ that old guy's apartment.. I can't remember the last time I felt such anguish for a movie character
I think I'll rent it. Just watched District 9 (second time). I think I'll add this to my media library.
My wife wasn't sure she liked it, so I went in with pretty low expectations. Parts were a little wierd, but overall, I thought it was pretty good. The CG was very good.
I just watched "Sucker Punch". I don't yet know what I think about it. It's hard to argue against a movie with scantily clad beauties kicking serious butt... However, I'm not sure I get what the director was trying to say.
He was trying to say, "I can get you to watch this movie because it includes scantily-clad beauties kicking serious butt."
The Help- I accompanied my Wife to this movie. It's excellent, but I would have never watched at the theater on my own. It reminds me of how badly people can treat each other while even claiming to be religious, although there were really no religious themes in this movie. It takes place in the Bible belt.
Well, he's right. I finally watched Jet Li's "The One". Jet Li kicking serious butt! WooHoo!
Re-watched "Despicable Me" this weekend. I still thoroughly enjoyed it.
Just re-watched Brokeback Mountain for the first time in a few years. I completely forgot how great this film is. If it's been awhile since you've seen it, it's time to watch it again.
