Just watched The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift

Decent movie (having watched it on cable). I'm a big fan of the Fast and Furious franchise and an even bigger fan of how ridiculous the movies are. Which is probably why I liked Fast 5 so much.

I liked the first one.

Picked up Tower Heist, In Time, and Harold and Kumar 3 on iTunes last week to burn some credit.

Watched them all this weekend.

Out of the three, I mildly enjoyed In Time. Harold and Kumar was nothing like the first two, and Tower Heist was just a BIG dissapointment, for me anyways. I cant even watch anything new with Eddie Murphy now, its nothing compared to Coming to America, Golden Child, etc.

I love him in Shrek. ;)

I watched Catfish last night.

That's some crazy sh**.

I'm going to start thinking everyone on this board is a Forty something year old housewife from Michigan. :(

Yeah, that's a pretty crazy movie. Of course, there's debate about it's authenticity, but either way it's truly an interesting reflection on human nature and the internet.

This weekend we watched "Puss in Boots." It's not very much like the "Shrek" movies, but had much the same feel. I enjoyed it.

Today was "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides." Once again, totally impossible, but fun to watch.

BLU-RAY SUCKERS! Shame I can't enjoy this amazingness on Macs but Apple doesn't want to support Blu-Ray (CAUSE APPLE DONT LIKE THE PHYSICAL MEDIA BLAH BLAH BLAH)

Luckily I have a digital copy so I'm set for travel. I'm a Tron fanatic!

I watched (again) Pulp Fiction last night on YouTube.

Amoral, yes, but very well told, and extremely stylish; great dialogue, terrific casting, fantastic editing and some superb music.

Last movie I watched was "Solaris", the Russian version. I enjoyed the Clooney remake, and wanted to compare them.

The original is interesting in its own right. But it was made in the style of "2001", and you know how people complain that "2001" was slow? Well, "2001" looks like a Jerry Bruckheimer action flick compared to "Solaris".
