I watched "The Pirates! Band of Misfits" again. There are tons of openly funny moments, but also lots of subtle silly pieces that you can't catch the first time.

Am currently doing a re-watch of the Star Trek movies, and will have to redo Indiana Jones/ Back to the future at some point.

Frau Im Mond, one of the many masterpieces by Lang. Will probably go out and watch the Hobbit this afternoon...

50 First Dates. Again. At least a 100 times I've seen this movie.

Thanks to The Hoppa!

I think that's one of Adam Sandler's best movies. Of course, he generally doesn't set the bar very high...

I haven't seen it 100 times, but I would guess 10-15.

Watching the digital copy of Jaws on my iPad. Will have to get back to the Indiana Jones later.

Schindler's list.

A mixed bag of a movie, never the less excellent. I was recently in Regensburg, one of the places Oscar Schlinder lived after the war. On a tour we were told by a guide an interesting bit of trivia- in the movie, the roll played by Ben Kingsley in real life was played by his wife who acted as a mentor on his Jewish decisions. I can't vouch for its accuracy.

I watched Battleship & Total Recall last night. Both were rather bad, but they were both mindless fun. I personally enjoyed Battleship more primarily because I love Navy war movies. :D

Spoiler

Finally watched Dark Knight Rising. I loved the villain, I was impressed that BM got his butt kicked, but the movie was too long and got a bit tedious.

Watched L'Ecclise by Antonioni. In the train. Blasphemy?

Travelling while eyeing Monica Vitti (and Alain Delon) is quite jouyful I've to say. Anyone interested in beautiful vistas and stories of postwar Roma....

My understanding is that you have to load the movie into iTunes on your computer, then connect your iPad to your computer to load movies like these?

Yeah, with the Jaws digital copy, you redeem your code through the iTunes store and then load it onto your iPad.

Well my two youngest grandchildren, are coming over so their mother can get the house ready for christmas.

So we will be watching "Sponge Bob Square Pants" for at least five hours.
