Great movie. And has good re-watchability.

Ya certainly have my agreement - AB left me feeling badly beaten up just from watching it!!

The daniel craig Bond scene with the bottomless chair and the swinging rope had me feeling nauseous - but thats a different kettle of fish.
AB comment-
Another thing that impressed me about Charlize Theron as a actress, is that she was willing to show her middle aged body which looked like she was beaten to hell, as part of telling the story to illustrate the character was bruised and battered, but she could then put on clothes and look like a perfect goddess. :)

A few days ago I finally saw Paprika, the last of Satoshi Kon's films and the only one I hadn't yet seen. It's often said that this film inspired Christopher Nolan's Inception. (It does feature a device that allows one to enter another person's dream and even uses the metaphor of a hotel elevator stopping at different floors to represent different dreams).

AI before there was AI and one to watch if into Sci-Fi or just drama in general...

Q-6
The movie was based on the first book of a trilogy by Dennis Jones. Although the final two book got much more “spacey”. The 2nd book being a more traditional science fiction dystopian story. And the final book with the 2 Martian moons actually being space aliens (weird).

Sounds interesting. What was the name of the first book?
