I watched it, it was alright, but I kind of expected more; I guess I was hoping for another breakout like Good Will Hunting was...?

Madam Web (2024 Marvel)- A very loose relationship to Spiderman nothing direct, happens before Spiderman, this could be a multiverse style story. Anyway a woman gains the power of clairvoyance via the power of spider venom. What’s interesting is that at the beginning of this movie you’ll swear this story is a paradox, later you might say maybe not. Not stellar, but watcheable.. I give it a thumbs up.
We gave it 15 ~ 20 minutes, couldn't quite see where it was going and gave up.
Lover Come Back (1961)- Rock Hudson, Doris Day, Tony Randall. I love this movie, quintessential 60s comedy,

Just finished watching A Quiet Place Day One, in my opinion much better than part 2. I also watched Michael Mann Thief for the first time I don’t mind it, but not as good as heat.

I do not play video games (besides on iOS). So my free time is consumed with TV shows and movies

When I was 15 (1968) a friend‘s mother offered to take me and my friend to the movies. The choice was Gone With The Wind or Planet of the Apes which had just been released... I did not end up seeing Gone With The Wind for 9 years, when it was broadcast on television.
I was in Pensacola, Florida staying in a hotel, the night before I was entering the USN’s NAOCS program (Navy Aviation Officer Candidate School, similar to An Officer and a Gentleman movie, but that was not filmed in Pensacola). I put my current book aside to watch it, loved that movie, and after read that book too.
This is becoming a reality. Very creepy.

Indeed it is. I watch it every couple of years. It's that good. And Rear Window in on my short list of movies that I want to re-watch. Haven't seen that in 10+ years.
I found myself sympathizing with the villain. The guy is a grade A jerk, but he is so relatable--an middle-aged man annoyed by three teenagers. That's me.😏 The only difference is I have no superpowers.🥺
