SciFi Movie reccomendations. Thoughts?

5. Vesper
4. Cold Skin (Amazon)
3. Otherlife (Amazon)
2. Rememory (Netflix)
1. Passengers (Netflix)

Vesper, Other life, and Rememory maybe worthy, but that’s a maybe. Cold skin, I can’t say. :) I saw Passengers at the theater and was disappointed in this because it was deceivingly marketed as a scify thriller, when actually it’s primarily a love story set in space. I should watch it again and give it a second chance.
I tried Otherlife which is included with Prime and while the premise is interesting, I was not sure if this was people experiencing inserted memories or they were living it in real, although compressed time. I did not finish it. 😐

In The Deeps Woods (1992)

An interesting crime thriller focused around a serial killers actions, excellent cast - Anthony Perkins, Rosanna Arquette & Will Patton. On the slower side, however suits the tone of the film. Well directed with an even pacing that Keeps you guessing until the end, then it comes together.

If you liked In The Deeps Woods (1992) then this one is also worth your time. More of a metaphysical horror & thriller that also touches on corruption & conspiracy. Flows at a more powerful pace with again an excellent cast.

Neither are blockbusters, however not to shabby either if into this style and a good deal better than far more recent films.

The whole diamond ring thing and how it’s propagated among society still blows my mind.

The whole concept that engagement ring need to be a diamonds is artificially DeBeers invention that has become engrained in modern western society. Historically, any precious stone was considered to be acceptable as an engagement ring, not exclusively just diamonds

In case people haven't heard, Amazon has taken the reins of the Bond franchise; the long-time producers retain a stake, but have ceded creative control.

Can't pretend that the movies are high art, but it's not hard to have questions about what Bond will be going forward.

yup, was going to post this just now.
Not sure I like it ...

And for me, Goldfinger remains my favorite 007 movie of all.

My only hope is that they did a good job with Fallout.
