A friend of my mom's gave me a iMac G3 Bondi Blue back when I was in 4th or 5th grade (around 2002), all I remember is that it was an awesome computer, except when the hard drive crashed on the second day I had it :(

Haven't owned anything but a mac since... well, except for that brief period of insanity where I bought an HP Elitebook, but the BSODs quickly sorted that out.

1st gen iPod Shuffle (512 MB) in 7th grade. I really wanted an iPod classic but I didn't have the funds so I had to settle for less.

My first Apple product was an iPod Nano 1st Gen (White). I got it from a friend it worked great. Few months later I upgraded to the Nano 5th Gen (Black) though. I chose it over a Nano 6th gen because the 5th Gen Nano was brilliantly designed and I loved it.

First Apple product

My first Apple Product was a Mac Plus in 1988. Had two slots, insert the systems disc in one and specialty software in the other to work - save work on the disc or another disc.
:)
Followed that in 1989 with and SE30Special -- (30gb hd -- insane, no one could ever use that much hd...). Friend was an agent. Got it at a discount for $6500.

----------

Oh, we used the Mac Plus to drive a 21 projector/lazer convention show. Had it programmed on a disc -- had to hold audience outside for 10 minutes. Program would not start. Eject disc. Plug it back in. Did that about 10 times as we were sweating "blood" -- last time -- it started. Pause, bring in audience -- crossed fingers, hit pause again, show took off without a hitch. Ran perfect from then on.

The first Apple product I purchased for myself was a 20 GB iPod Color from the Fall of 2005. My parents bought me an Apple II when I was a kid, but that probably doesn't count since it was purchased for me (I was kindergarten aged).

The first Apple computer I purchased myself was a a 14" iBook G4 from January 2006.

The original Bondi Blue 233 MHz iMac. I used Macs a lot before that in elementary school, though.

Ah, my trusty old 2nd-gen iPod nano I got for my 12th birthday. This thing was amazing for listening to my entire music collection (a whopping 80 songs!) while I mowed lawns during the summer.

Apologies for the poor photography.

And yes, I am still using Windows Vista on my primary computer. I'm in desperate need of an upgrade.
