My first

...in elementary school was a IIe.

...in Highschool was a IIc.

...in College was a Mac SE.

...owned was a Performa 6100 Series.

Since then I have owned Nanos, MBPs, Minis, TVs, etc.

In between the 6100 and Mini, I used MANY Windows based machines due to work. I'm glad I have come back to this side of the world. :)

First Apple product was a pink Gen 1 iPod Nano with the b&w screen. It blew after a year and I swore I would never buy another Apple product.

Then I was in the Apple store many years later and I had a love at first sight moment with the ipod touch. Since then I have gotten a Nano, iPhone, iPad and MacBook Pro x)

Technically my ipod touch 2g, but my first mac was an iBook g3 last month, oh how slow it is, I just got an iMac g3 snow with Tiger and it's almost as fast as my Pentium 4 3.14ghz (I think its .14, might be 3.4) And that's why macs are better XD

My First Apple Product was the iPod 3rd Gen. I still have it but it needs a new screen and HDD but parts are so expensive I cannot justify the cost of the parts :(
Besides that i was an apple hater for a long time until I gave in and bought my '08 White MB (Thanks VISTA!)

An iMac given to me by an employer to run Final Cut Pro on. When I found myself using it as my personal computer as well is when I totally gave up windows.

Soon after, I got an iPod - 2nd or 3rd gen (can't remember) and I've been hooked on Apple's stuff ever since.

The first Apple product for me was a golden iPod Mini 4GB.

Since then I've owned (in chronological order):

An iPod 3rd Generation 40GB with touch buttons.
An iPhone 3GS 32GB in black.
An iPod Video 30GB in black.
An iPhone 2G 8GB.
An iPod Video 60GB in black.
An iPod Classic 80GB in black.

First Mac was an iMac 20" C2D 2.66Ghz which I bought on the 16/8/10.

Since then I've owned (in chronological order):

A MacBook Pro 13" C2D 2.26Ghz

My first personal Apple product was my iPod nano 1st gen. Still have it and use it for working out but the battery isn't what it used to be. We always had a Macs at home though (while I was growing up) so I dunno if that counts.

Not sure about the exact reference of my first Mac, because when I was young my father worked as an affiliated technician for Apple in France, and a lot of Apple computers have gone through home.

But I am sure that we still have a SE30 and a Color Classic at home :)

Played with them for years at school and college. First Apple purchase was a 3G iPod, 15gb! Still alive too thanks to a replacement battery.

This was my first ever Apple product....
re_nano_2nd_gen.jpg

But it was this, that start my obsession with Apple....
iphone-4.jpg

I watched the Key Note that Steve gave on the iPhone 4, and I was floored. I preordered and got mine on release day by buying out my Verizon contract I had been using with a Moto Droid. (That was not cheap.) Been a fanboy ever since.

in 1980....

Apple ][ Plus, had 48 k of memory.
1 Apple floppy disk.
1 third party floppy disk.
Andromeda 16 k memory expansion card, that could 'freeze' hi-mem.
Epson MX-80 printer.
Spies printer card, that could do near-letter-quality on the MX-80.
I forget the monitor brand, but it was a very popular 13 inch color display.

Added a Novation Apple-Cat modem later.

It lasted me until the Mac came out in '84.

Up, up in my studio, studio
First Apple product I ever used: Apple II and IIe, in high school.

First Apple software I used on a computer I owned: iTunes for Windows. Even though the software was in its infancy, I still preferred this over Musicmatch, Windows Media Player and of course RealPlayer.

First Apple hardware I possessed: An old IIe, given to me by a relative. I kept it around for a few months, but gave it back when the nostalgia factor wore off.

First Apple hardware I purchased: iPod Nano 4Gb 2nd gen, blue. Up to that point, the nano was the most elegant piece of electronic hardware I had ever had. It worked perfectly with my already well-established iTunes for Windows library, no extra configuration needed; this combination led me to investigate getting into the Mac side of things. I'd still be using it today had it not been taken in a burglary.

2001: First gen. iPod mini in PINK! At the time it was the last one available in the whole country. The color didn't matter since I wanted it so bad. Really impressed everybody at school.

Don't want to think about what I've spend on Apple products over the years.
