The Comedy Central Roast of Donald Trump is on TV right now.

I'm going to leave it at that, except for to say that I miss Greg Giraldo.

Yeah, some bug group showed up in n the early 60s, then followed by this other Rolling something or other. Then later there was The What and this Heavy Airship group. :D
Garth Brooks made Country Western music interesting. :)
[doublepost=1525832785][/doublepost]Just finished episode 8 of The Terror. Now that they are on the move I’m more engaged, and starting to feel sorry for this group because their odds are not good at all. Two episodes left.
Just finished Season 1 of The Terror, a good historical feeling drama, monster story. I’ll give it a reluctant thumbs up. ;) Imo it dragged by virtue of spending such a long time on the ship, with not a lot happening except people getting picked off. The tension between the two Captains as how to approach their predicament was good. All of the cast was outstanding, my favorites were Jerad Harris, Tobias Menzies, and Ciaran Hinds, the last two were in the short lived HBO series Rome.

As far as a Season 2, if that happens, my understanding it will be a completely different story.

Have been reading the 'Red Sparrow' books and made the mistake of watching the movie. It was not very good, did a disservice to the books.

I've just seen the first season of This is Us on Amazon Prime here in the UK. I'm actually mind blown that there is a second season out there (with a 3rd on the way) and the only way I can watch it is to make a US iTunes account so that I can purchase it using $ value cards obtained through eBay it or bootleg it.

Just finished up watching the Netflix series "Lost In Space". It was really enjoyable and a good example of a Sci-Fi reboot. I highly recommend it. It's only 10 episodes. Good acting and cinematography.

World Cup preview on BBC1. Kick off tomorrow. But the big one for me is Monday night.
Should be an easy game. I'm going to sleep early and wake up for the KSA Ruski game. French and Convicts game should be interesting, too. Portugal and Spain will be the height of the group state, IMO.

Intelligence. It’s on Netflix. Canadian police drama from 12 years ago. It really is quite excellent and very binge worthy. I’m liking it almost as much as I liked The Wire.

Uh! If you are comparing it to "The Wire" count me in. I will look this one up over the weekend. The Wire is one of my favorite shows. Both me and the wife binged it over a two or three week period and watched every episode. Love that show.

Much greener pastures
I’m hooked on, of all things, a Swedish series airing on WGN America. It’s called 100 Code, and it starts with an American detective hunting a particularly bizarre serial killer. The detective finds that similar crimes have been going on in Stockholm. So he travels there to join forces with a Swedish detective, only to find out that this crime is way more layered than it appeared at first.

I’d be spoiling it to say more than this: there appear to be quite a few serial killers involved in this case.

It’s a concept I’ve never seen done before, and the locations are beautiful.

Only bad thing is, it’s airing weekly and four episodes have already gone by. But if it comes to Netflix or something, it’s well worth a view.

Saw a commercial on TV for Bodyguard. A new British thriller series coming soon, whatever "coming soon" means these days. Looks to be fairly entertaining!
