Finally started to watch Kurt Sutter's "Mayan's M.C." series from FX. I really enjoyed the 1st episode and lt looks like it's going to be a fitting successor to "Sons Of Anarchy". Their setting up a complex story with multiple lines. Good storytelling and good acting. I am definitely looking forward to seeing the rest of Season 1 and then more seasons!

Watched the pilot episode of the new Nathan Fillion police drama, "The Rookie". I was pretty impressed! Seems like it might just be one of the better cop shows I've seen in many years. I'll give this one a try for a while, but the 1st episode was good!

That Haunted Hill House show isn't bad. Haven't seen the Nathan show yet, but I groaned at people comparing it to Castle and expecting Castle 2.0. Some people!

I thought "Deutschland 83" outstanding, and loved the soundtrack.

Yes, it is, but I've skipped it since I didn't watch the first series. Are they still using that awful Peter Schilling song for the intro? I wanted to remind you about the '86 weeks ago but figured you kept up to date on it. I believe they've already began writing the scripts for Deutschland 89.

No, I wasn't up to date on it, - I just checked online, as I had last thought about it a few months ago - and they haven't yet begin to show it here.

However, I loved Deutschland 83.

Yeah, it's worth watching if you're a comics or Superman fan. The production values are good and the storyline is enjoyable, (even if it's not within the comics canon). There has only been one season of it, so far. We'll be watching it when the new season comes out.

We watched one of the final episodes of Anthony Bourdain's "Part's Unknown", the "Far West Texas" episode. It was really great! Even if you don't watch the rest of the final season, make an effort to watch this episode. It will give you a real insight to the situation along the border there, not the gibberish that is spouted by politicians and followers of certain nationalist outlooks. This may well have been his defining episode.

Maybe. My son and I have caught the first few shows, (we have them set to DVR). I'm not usually one for cop shows, but I have really enjoyed this one. It has enough light comedy to offset the drama and I find that rather appealing. I think Nathan is doing a good job on this one and the the rest of the cast are pretty good, too. The writing is pretty good, as well.

Probably. I'll put it on the backburner for now. We watched Castle years after it began airing and I remember wanting to bail in the first season because it wasn't good. Turned out to be a great show.

Tonight the CW begins its yearly crossover of superhero shows (Supergirl, Arrow and The Flash). This years event is "Elseworlds", a multiversal storyline that looks to be loosely based on the DC comics "Crisis on Infinite Earths", (as it features a Monitor character. Looking forward to watching these, as they are always so well done!

Not so good when you end up watching them in the wrong order though! That’s what happened to us last season.
