I am in total awe that the love story that I have going in my life, is continuing in its own way.
Beyond doubt it changes things and us in very unexpected ways.
The change is a purpose that love indeed has.
Love is a strange and magical force.

@Lioness~, your post brought tears to my eyes. Love and hope, juxtaposed with loss and sadness. Thank you.


These two posts reminded me of when my grandmother passed away, quite some years ago. She was always so excited to see the Christmas season roll around again, and do some seasonal baking. I miss that ebullience, along with the Swedish and German baked goods, shortbread and Stollen being the only ones whose names I remember. These days, I do some of my own Christmas baking, although I'm not brave enough to tackle Stollen. I still think of Nana when I pull the shortbread cookies out of the oven.

Now I better get back to working on the MR statistics, or my keyboard is going to have a short circuit from the salt water mysteriously dripping onto it.

I've clearly missed the memo this year because it seems as if nearly everyone on the road has those window deer antler thingamajigs.

I’ve studied many years with a shaman btw :)
But if you don’t talk with them, learn their symbolics.

The weather has been all kinds of disgusting here this entire winter. We had a brief shower this morning which lead to the muggiest of muggy Christmas mornings I've ever experienced. It isn't even remotely chilly at night like it usually is.


Again, my deepest condolences to you, Sceptical. I don't think any complaint in this thread can match the pain you and your siblings are going through.
