I believe that should be 48/14/24...Since you’re not a firefighter you can multitask. Hence the expectation is to work 48/7 at minimum.
Supposed to hit 30 tomorrow. So I did some jobs this evening after work.
Cars washed. Tree stump attacked.
It’s an ongoing battle for many months. It’s less than half the size it was. But as it has a gas pipe running under part of it, and half goes under the concrete base the gas tank sits on, my options are limited.Did it fight back? The last time I took to a tree for substantial pruning (i.e. down to the ground) it defended itself vigorously, resuling in the application of much iodine and many band-aids.
One day indeed. Took an hour and a half for me to upload a 7 GB video to Google Drive...I wish the whole world or most of it could have Fiber internet. It would be amazing!
One day.
Timing is everything, isn't it?Well, my old keyboard just happened to totally break on me during a rehearsal yesterday, and the new one, according to the Guitar Center rep I spoke to today, is backordered, and he said it'll be at least another week till it even ships, so I likely won't have it for another two weeks, which is fine by me, except that my current one broke. Luckily, someone was kind enough to lend me one of theirs for the time being, so that I can still play all my gigs next week (of which I have several).
Ok, and you joined MacRumors to say that? 😂I'll tell you more, I heard that even in golf they use golf products for bodybuilders! I do not know what kind, because you can not tell by their appearance. I was a golfer myself, but then I saw a guy injecting something like testosterone into his thigh. It was very strange why he would use such drugs in golf.
Gosh, yes.Ok, and you joined MacRumors to say that? 😂
Wonderful reply. What I hear is that you might be unhappy for the lack of success you didn't got, and found a reason to leave Golf altogether.
But I might be wrong, I have no idea who you are or what you are doing here.
The weather. Glorious sunshine all day. Then we had thunderstorms. The much needed rain came down in bucket falls. Even had some hail.
Just light rain now. At least the water butt will be full again.
Also get the night off watering which is an added bonus.
A night of watering was very welcome. Might have made the ground soft enough to weed tomorrow.Thunder threatening, and it is cloudy and increasingly dark here, close and humid and heavy. I daresay that we shall experience thunder presently; the barometer has fallen a little the heights of the past fortnight.
Yesterday, when it was spitting rain for a short while in the afternoon, I felt almost offended.
Low humidity. I wish. Quite close here this evening.Sitting out here on my deck enjoying the delightful weather we are having! It is just the right temperature, neither hot or chilly, with a very pleasant breeze wafting past every now and then.... LOW humidity, which makes a huge difference, too. The air quality is back to normal after the past couple of days of experiencing to a milder extent what NYC and other areas were having.
Having done some things around the house and also reorganized some things on two computers and a couple of external drives, what is on my mind right now is contented satisfaction at having gotten these tasks out of the way.
Quite close - actually, very close - here, too.Low humidity. I wish. Quite close here this evening.
On the rare occasion an Ikea box enters our house my wife takes charge. I do not have the appropriate patience levels for such projects.Well, that went surprisingly well.
Son bought his mother an Ikea bedside drawer unit for her birthday.
Guess who got to put it together? The son with the degree in engineering, maths and physics? Or the father with the degree in marine biology?
Anyway, the only parts left over were four wooden plugs (two large and two small) and half a bag of brads.
I found out about the spare wooden plugs after one had dropped out of my hand and disappeared under the couch. After moving the couch, retrieving the wayward plug, somebody said "There's some spares here...".
We have about 8 ikea units in Mrs AFB craft room and my office. I could put them together with a blindfold on. Very easy.Well, that went surprisingly well.

Agreed. We have other stuff that was much worse. We put 10 of the classic Billy shelves together for my office. Worked a treat. Building ikea furniture is a bout as complex as putting together a Lego set. Compared to other cheap furniture brands ikea always wins on instructions and packaging.
As a Swede I had IKEA products since as long as I can recall. Ivar has been one of my first choice, and new things just keeps coming to the system. Love it!We put 10 of the classic Billy shelves together for my office. Worked a treat. Building ikea furniture is a bout as complex as putting together a Lego set.
