Haha, I think I am in a very good place, considering. No wishes of anything to eat up this person. Pigs or hungry things at sea. But thanks for the laugh :D
In fact, those that I really have passionately loved stays in a way in my heart, always, after I’ve detached emotionally.
There were some #@%? from younger age that was not real love though, but karma usually plays out, at sea or with hungry animals perhaps.
Ah, it was a lover. Well, I have no idea how old you are, but adults are usually mature. They rarely change, and when and if this person comes a knocking and says they've changed, they're likely lying. Change takes many years. As for young love... well, I'd estimate less than one percent of it becomes lasting.

For your sake, it's time to move on and leave this person in the dust. Let them wallow in their sorrow... and likely pitiful mood.

I've not changed since my teens.
Well apart from:

The waist line
The hair line
The lines on my face
My grumpiness!

I’m mature enough to know the difference between young and mature love.
Young love is rarely real love, even though it feels that way in a young heart. Usually more emotions then love.
We still have emotions when love goes deeper and we are mature though. We are still humans. It’s not necessarily lasting anyway, out of many reasons.
It can take many turns even. And I surely believe that adults change, love can make us change, oh my, if anything. But I am not expecting anything at this point. I want to have peace emotionally for myself. I don’t have time for more mess, it have been enough yrs.

And @Zenithal my Siemens machine won’t be sacrificed in this story :p

Keep pigs. No need to go out to sea!

I was almost certain that behind that link I would have found Brick Top explaining the correct procedure for disposing of a body. Since that wasn't the case, I'm going to go ahead and link it myself. Perhaps some spoilers for those who haven't seen the brilliant Snatch by Guy Ritchie. And if you haven't seen it, go watch it!

Here you go.

One of my all-time top favorite movies right there. Since you just mentioned it, I'm now going to watch it tonight.

Actually, you can make an effort to change, or at least, know yourself better and address some aspects of your character that both could do with addressing and might benefit from such.

The point is, while you cannot change yourself utterly, you can tweak, modify, amend, adapt.

You might not always wish to do so, but occasional self-examination cannot but be of benefit.

Oh, well.

I am one of those who never subscribed to the idea that one's teenage self is the acme of civilisation and human development.

Because, - frankly - it is not.

But as a teenager I have some very happy memories. Others may have been forgotten after a bottle of thunderbird or two!
But I recall my hairline and hair colour where more appealing than now! My waistline is actually better in my 40's!

No.

I would consign the memory of my teenage self to the dustbin of history.

Yes, I was slim and, yes, fit, because I walked or cycled everywhere. Sigh.

Yes, there was a precocious youth (actually, an absurdly abnormally precocious youth - I wanted to discuss history, philosophy, politics, culture) with a ferocious and passionate intellectual curiosity - that person I do remember and respect, especially when idiots (often, but not exclusively male) thought that this was not how girls should wish to present to the world.

But, my teenage self - when even well meaning types thought that I should pretend to be stupid - because this is what they said guys wanted.......good grief.

No, never.

I was much more of an extrovert as a teenager. These days I’m an introvert for sure!

How cool it'd be to use the iPhone's (or a competing brand's) depth perception to scale video proportionally to how far away it is.

Normally, when you rotate an object in 3D, the part furthest from you appears smaller than the part closest. So if you could enlarge parts of video that are further away, you could record… orthographic video?

EDIT: Here's an example of a square and an Ive rotating in standard 3D perspective:

persp.gif

Here are the same square and Ive rotating while viewed as orthographic projections. If a depth system could compensate for perspective, this is what live action video would look like:

orth.gif

Movement becomes ambiguous; is that orthographic square rotating clockwise or counterclockwise?

I probably have this wrong, but didn't HTC Evo 3D do just that?

I don't think so. I hadn't heard of that phone before, but after doing some reading, it sounds like it could shoot stereoscopic 3D video/photos. Maybe I missed a feature of the HTC Evo 3D.

Man, that one simply flips back and forth for me after awhile, i.e. doesn't appear to be rotating at all, more like flapping. Bizarre!

Yes, exactly. :) And what's perhaps even odder is that an orthographic view of this square would look the same if it were rotating about its y-axis or scaling along its x-axis.

rotvscale.gif

When viewed from above, you can see how they're actually moving. While the left square is rotating, the one on the right is being scaled along its x-axis at a rate defined by the parabola below:

This is why I expressed interest in using a phone's depth system to emulate orthographic projections; can you imagine how bizarre this ambiguous motion would look with live action video? One could even adjust the lighting to reduce contrast, further reducing data one's visual system could use to figure out the orientation of objects in motion.

This is, and will be a good energy shift for me. **** the ******* part of this ****er for now.
I’m moving on with things in my life more focused now. Little anger and furious energy was good for me.
I might listen if the sucker turned up remorseful and respectful and a whole lot more, but not now :D

Uhhmm, lot of **** but I feel great now :p

A drop of an appliance, not a Siemens, may alleviate further frustration. Drop onto an individual's head, that is.
Thinking heavy stuff, but doubt it would break that stubborn head anyway :D
Should have saved my kettlebells, it would've served the purpose. The dumbbells will have to do.
Ah well, in my mind, more dangerous ideas are foooorrrggged....into positive things for me.

No, the dumbbells are worth roughly the same you spent on them.

I’m giving serious thought to taking some time away from work. Feeling kinda tired...tired to the bone.

Burnout. Take some time and fly back to the west. Go golfing. Play fetch with Lucy at the beach.

Take some time and fly back to the west.

Take some time for yourself, take a break, and a holiday.

Thanks. A trip west is on the list...and tossing the idea around making a short trip south-south.

Dispite snowing since I got up around 6 am it’s still a pretty decent day.
