What I learned from this thread:

iphone+redsn0w+win95=missile launch & jailtime!

Evidently all the l33t h@x0rs are using win95 these days?!

im using an example. if you can run windows 95 on the iphone, then surely a hacker could run snow leopard or windows 7 or linux on it. actually, linux has been run on it...the real thing.

he can do anything on a computer.

this one time, at band camp... this guy totally hacked skynet. on his iphone!

hey dude... no missles at los alamos. never have been. it's a research facility, not a missle silo.

they INVENTED the bomb there... they don't keep them there.

I am into pirating, though I am a lousy pirate as I have no stomach for the open seas.
I did the pirate thing for a while and realized I downloaded, installed and deleted more crap than it was worth.
The main reasons I jailbreak is for theming and running the a number of programs that add some unique functions to my toy.
I also really like irealsms and tethering.
As far as movies go, I rip my own downloading is rediculous

Hello, I have an Iphone 3GS wich is working just as my carrier gave it to me and i´m quite happy. No JB.

I read and read more and more post of people having trouble with their Jailbreaked iphones and even with unlocked ones, searching more methods to do it or crying because they have a brick now.

What I mean is, is really jailbreaking that good? does it worth it?

sorry for my poor english

JB is good for:

PdaNet - Free Tethering -- Nice to surf the web from restaurants that don't have a wifi point and NOT pay AT&T $30/month for that feature.

Flashlight - A flashlight app that turns on full brightness and never dims.

AppSync - Program that allows me to create my own IPA's and distribute them without needing the AppStore.

MxTube - Nice to download YouTube videos so that I can watch them many times without downloading them over and over again.
