The G4 iMac and the Cube: Apple's most innovative designs, and consequently the two most innovative computer designs, ever.

I just gave away our G4 iMac. I hated to see it go, but we weren't using it any longer, and it went to someone who could use it. Nobody is getting their hands on my Cube though.

I have to say my Power Mac G4 Sawtooth. That computer rocked. I had it for over 6 years and upgraded everything in it. It's still in use too. I sold it to a co-worker who loves it. Great, unbelievably upgradable computer.

Yup, that one still serves as my desktop system, mainly due to the lack of a similarly priced current generation tower. Like you I've upgraded all of its original functionality, and it has run Mac OS from 9.2 through Leopard.

They were the most user-upgradable machines they ever made. They also live forever. Brilliantly well-made and functional. We may never see the likes of those again.

My 2003 Rev. A PowerBook G4 17"

That machine is still working as of today... I would have said that it is still perfectly happy running 10.2... :O

I recently restored it to it's stock config... (Well... at least the OS... the parts are all maxed out :D)

It is well... just a blast from what Apple laptops should still be made like!!!

I say that... but my new 17" UniBody is also up there with it!!! I just love the matte screen and the power... now the power... that is just WOW!!!!
