I actually like these Apple minitowers:

These were the cases for PowerMacs 9600 (200, 250, 300, 350, dual and single CPU versions) and the later PowerMac G3 "beige".

They had also a "horizontal" desktop version:

But for me, the minitower was the one, that had that type of "power" comming out of them. You could feel the therm "power" in/out of these boxes. The later G4 towers were a joke, not in functional term, but as a design, especially because of these curved lines and colors (aka PowerMac G3 blue & white). However, I liked the PowerMac G4 Digital Audio too... oh, well.

My first Mac was a clone, Umax Aegis, but I also like the case of its biggest brother, the Pulsar series:

absolutly the iMac g4. Beautiful and slick looking machine. I think all other iMacs since have been a step backwards in design.

PowerMac 7600/132! This baby lived on and on, upgrade after upgrade, before it sadly went to its final resting place. I love the design, and while I can see why towers make more sense in this day and age, I'll always have a soft spot for the horizontal CPU. It opened up so easily, and it even had a kickstand to hold up the drive cage.

iMac G3 Tray Loader because it was so revolutionary at the time.

I always thought that these were ugly; however, around this time was the first time I began noticing an increase in consumers having Apple computers. So, this was a great computer as far as Apple Inc. is concerned. Before this computer, most of the Apples that I saw were in schools (powermac, etc)

It's a toss up between the Intel Mac mini or the White MacBook. Both beautiful machines.

Lol. So ugly that they were beautiful. They were very different and probably key to Apple's rebirth. I had the original Bondi Blue iMac and when that died I got the Indigo iMac slot loader that still works and my mom uses it for her business. Though despite the upgrades I've made to it she needs to upgrade soon.

^^ You seriously like that?

I have played with iMac G4's (a 17 inch 1 GHz). They are great machines and I would love a 20 inch modded into a external monitor/HD/SuperDrive.

Yeap, I love that iMac. Still have mine. I also love the overly dramatic drama it brings from mostly males.

The 20th Anniversary Mac......the iMac's great grandfather.

........and of course, I'm still partial to my first Apple, a PowerBook 140 (which I still have, and it still works.......slowly).

The first "round" of low cost macs when they came out, the LC, the IIsi, and the Classic:

Also the "Pizza Box" Macs, the LC, Centris, and Quadra 605

Centris:

One of the best is the Quadra 700

As far as recent, the Aluminum MacBook, and the Mini... ;)

Fav Mac

My favorite Mac of all time would be the Blueberry iMac. It was my favorite because it was the first Mac I ever owned. I still have mine too.
