The messages app.
They removed the swipe gesture to select multiple images to delete them all at once, so now you have to press on each image individually to remove them and on top it, it doesn’t actually remove some images. Some are simply stuck and the delete button does nothing. Been happening since beta one on 3 different iDevices.
Sometimes I am even deleting images from messages and suddenly images that weren’t there before appear again.
there is also still the issue from like all the way back to iOS 10 or whatever where as the amount of messages images inside the settings app don’t match the actual amount of attached images from within the messages app itself.

For some reason my name and picture doesn't show up in messages going to my contacts (on their phones). Yes, I do have it set up that way in the settings. It's been a couple of days now.
My XS is working great except that kit loses 35% or more battery life overnight......I usually try to go to sleep with it fully charged so it isn’t plugged in all night and that worked well with IOS12, not so much now. When I look at the battery usage it just says “usage by app is not available for 5am-6am”
FaceID seems buggy. On some apps it works great and on other apps there are latency issues where it looks to be judging if the face is correct. I also see optimization issues with apps that haven't updated to using iOS 13. Overall, 13.0 seems worse than 12.0.
Mine is they’ve made things take longer than they did. If I wanted to delete an app previously I simply long pressed it. Then hit the X when the apps started to wiggle.
Now I have to long press, then select rearrange icons. Then delete.
the spell check previously would put a red line under incorrectly spelled words. I’d tap it and a list would pop up. That doesn’t seem to work anymore. I have to select it. Then tap replace then pick the correct work.
Select all doesn’t seem to be present in iMessage anymore.
All little things that add seconds to your usage when you want to do something. I’m not sure how these are ‘improvements’.

My major iOS 13 gripes are UI related:
- UI when viewing a mail (what has been mentioned in the first post)
- In the photos app when you view a photo and want to add it to an album you have to go to the share sheet 🙄 Before there was a dedicated button for that.

Some of my contacts ended up with multiple birthdays in the calendar on the same day simply because I’d edited the contact in the end the only way to fix it was to go into calendar and change the default alert times to 9 AM because I had it set to none for birthdays then make the changes on the affected contacts like maybe altering the profile picture or adding other details and then go back into calendar and change back to none in the default alert times for birthdays and then the multiple birthdays disappear.
I’m not sure if it happened on the XS with the update or if it’s specific to the pro with iOS 13 but 13 is a very buggy update to say the least. I reported this bug and its annoying as hell, it doesn’t affect my contact card it seems quite random tbh.

When my iPhone was connected to my car with iOS 12 there was a home button on the screen to activate Siri. How do I do the same thing with iOS 13? I read that some cars are always listening now but saying "hey Siri" when I'm blaring music isn't going to work. Holding the home button would silence that for my request.
I have dark mode activated full time, and my gripe is in 3rd party apps there’s a flash of white screen while the app loads which can be jarring going from dark to flash of white back to dark. Brave browser also does it when opening a new tab. Although, this is on developers side not iOS.
Either in the main Messages list, or in an individual message chat, two-finger swipe right.
Ah, wait, you meant when you click on (i) and just look at all the images or other media, yes? Yeah, that no longer works properly.
Text selection and cursor movement is wonky and unpredictable, especially outside iOS.
It works terribly on this forum in particular. It’s also all but broken in the search box on the ATV remote app. It seems only to work well in a few places where longer form writing is the focus.

Responding to messages from the lock screen is devoid of keyboard feedback. Keys don't depress.

I've noticed bad pasting behavior with the traditional paste button, even within iOS apps like Notes. It just doesn't paste how/where you want it most of the time. How do they biff this??

Bring back the magnifying glass when moving the cursor
I so miss that magnifying glass. Possibly my biggest gripe for iOS 13 yo date. That and Messages which is just not very fluid and functional in iOS 13.
Bought my XS Max about 4-5 months ago and added iOS 13 the other day and noticed the Maximum Capacity is down to 97%, where as on 12.4 it was 100%. I’ve had an iPhone of some type for a long time to know this shouldn’t be down this much already so I am REALLY hoping this is another iOS 13 flaw.

Not having this with my Xs, still showing 100% - what you can do is download Coconut Battery on your Mac and plug it in and see what that shows for the battery mAH. Mine shows 2688 compared to a max design capacity of 2658, so I'm a little over 100% still. Note Coconut Battery can vary by upwards of 20 mAH each time you plug it in, but it will tell you if you are in the 100% ballpark or 97% ballpark, give or take.
Want the full 3D Touch feature to work, such as seeing a photo in quick look, and not being able to view it fully with 3D Touch.
next, I’d like to see the Animojis’ and stickers in messages GONE!! At least an option to hideor remove them. And get the stickers off my watch!!
