JB the phone and you can, I've only done this until the official version of whatsapp get released and i will remove the JB. easy fix and don't have to worry about all the virus issue as this way you don't have to worry about installing any profile

Does everything work as normal on JB? Like iCloud backing up all my settings/apps/photos etc?
And would I just download the original IPA from whatsapp beta site once JB and it would install no problem?
yes everything on my phone that i usually use prior to JB with the expectation of Barclay's bank app and the Sky go (sky TV app).
i got an ipad so i run them 2 on it.

I installed App Sync Unified but now when I click the dev link nothing happens. Before it would load but it wouldn't actually install. Now, it doesn't even start to install.

or AppSync (5.x -> 8.x) this is the one i am using and it all works

Hi again, nobody really replied to this question I had. Can you please check? Reading about all the malware in the last days I want to be really safe that my iPhone is not affected.
When I backup my phone including the apps, delete the whatsapp app from the app backup in iTunes, restore, and install the whatsapp app from app store, am I 100% safe that there is not possible malware on my phone due to I previously installed the beta?

if you are running ios8 then there will no profile, you will need xcode to check
there is no such thing is 100% only 99.9%

For those who are wondering what is the difference from Pgyer WhatsApp and Dev2 WhatsApp? This is what I have found so far. this is for information purpose only, use the information at your discretion and at your own risk if you choose to use it as i will not be held responsible in any way.
IPhone 4 – JB and iFile installed - installed Pgyer WhatsApp beta 2.11.14.324
IPhone 6 – J JB and iFile installed - installed Dev2 WhatsApp beta 2.11.14.324
Pgyer WhatsApp:-
• Pgyer has added UdDead profile to the iPhone 4
• Checked for Wirelurker using Redmondpie guide to date this has not been found on the phone (http://www.redmondpie.com/how-to-find-and-remove-wirelurker-malware-from-iphone-ipad/)
• This does not allow backup of the chat manually or automatically
Dev2 WhatsApp
• No profile been added on the iPhone 6
• No Wirelurker found (as above)
• Does allow you to back up chat manually and automatically ( have not tested the restore from the backup)
As I have not manage to find a way to assign the ipa file I am unable to do the 3rd test.
There you have it. There is no obvious evidence that pgyer provisional profile is addiing Wirelurker
Me personally I am sticking to the JBWhatsApp as (1) it backs up the chat, (2)it does not install any provisional profile and (3) I can customize the phone.
