WhatsApp Beta updated for 6 & 6 Plus Screen Sizes

Only a standard response with no content... And as such a big company, saying the words "get it out to you as soon as possible" 2 months after the release is just offending and nothing more.

Every day a new beta...
Does the .14 Version include VOIP functionality? I mean, I know it won’t be activated and not usable by beta testers right now but that seems to be what they are working on right now...

Does the version include an option to disable read notifications?
 
Can anyone answer me? If I restore from a back up BEFORE the Beta was installed is that ok after I restore the iPhone using iTunes?

2.11.14.280 was released earlier today and had the Enable Opus options removed from the debug menu. That might be the start of them removing VoIP functionality.

Not sure if they put it back into 2.11.24.286. I also didn't see an option to disable read receipts.

Yes. But it means any new conversation data from the beta would be lost.

Your Whatsapp will be restored back to the state of the last backup prior to installing the beta.

Well I hope they do the updates right so Apple does not have to reject the update like what seem to happen with .13
 
Is there no way at all to install a beta safely? Are there any safe sources?

Given all of the masquerade news, does anyone know for sure that pgyer isn't just a chinese site that is loading the most recent beta with malware and signing it?

Thats what we have been discussing for 2 weeks now.
Nobody knows for sure, probably not but if you want to be sure stay clear.
 
Anyone have instructions how we can sign the file ourselves on a non jail broken phone?

ya i wanted to do that as well but i gave up trying it as the new ifun box want let you install modified ipa without the device being JB. in the end and JB'd the phone

Your iPhone doesn't have to be jailbroken. You have two options:

1. Download straight from pgyer site. No need for dev license, Xcode or anything. Just download to phone from the site (link is in the comments)

2. Be a registered dev, and install from the other link provided in the thread.

like where, i have been through all 33 pages and no one posted any instruction on or where you can find the instruction to add your own dev profile to whatsapp

See the most recent MacRumours post on the iOS enterprise profile hack. Now it really looks bad for those who got the beta from the Chinese site.
