WhatsApp Beta updated for 6 & 6 Plus Screen Sizes

Does the beta support extensions? The inability to share a photo straight to whatsapp is literally my biggest gripe at the moment. :p

Want to know this as well. Also from what I read a few pages back, will we really not be able to reply to messages from the lock screen?

Overall, the iOS version of WhatsApp is a joke.

It looks downright comical on my 6 Plus.
 
Wow, I've only just seen this thread but have been wondering about an update to WhatsApp for a while now. It's hard to believe that this app gets such few updates and has absolutely no developer transparency. No blog, no tweets, nothing. It has the potential to be such a great app (despite its stupid name) and is already on pretty much everyone's iPhone. That said, there are things that don't ever seem to change and I doubt they ever will. The horribly heavy compression of photos is one thing. There should at least be the option to send/save images as full size as opposed to them being completely ruined. Backups are stored on iCloud as far as I know and it would be nicer if we, as users, had the option to use our iCloud space for better images (possibly even video, which is ignored from backups right now). Almost everyone I know uses WhatsApp and as a result, hardly anyone will try anything else. Telegram is a beautiful messenger app and seems to be better than WhatsApp in every way apart from the fact that hardly anyone (in comparison) uses it. The same goes for other messaging platforms like GroupMe.

I've skimmed through this massive thread but don't recall seeing anyone that has an idea when this new version is going to be released. All I've seen is something to do with them being delayed on their new call feature. Does anyone have any real information or is it all speculation?

There is nothing. I have searched the web for hours. People have resorted to installing unofficial betas from shady websites.
I have absolutely no idea what is going on at what's app. Nobody does.
The update is about 2 month overdue but somehow they find time to implement weird read notifications nobody asked for.

When the iPhone 5 came out it took them just as long, when iOS 7 came out it took them until December to release a update.

This company is incredibly slow and doesn't communicate with users at all. The management could serve as an example of how not to do business in a college course.

Despite all this, they have the network effect going for them which makes people unable to switch.

Has anyone worked out how to delete the provisioning profiles on windows? When you load the iphone configuration utility and try to move them from there i just get an error saying "Could not uninstall provisioning profile. Error: A file operation failed"

Don't have a windows Machine but try going to:

"C" drive (or the appropriate drive)> Users> [your username]> AppData> Roaming> Apple Computer> MobileDevice and locate the Provisioning Files folder.

Then delete the appropriate provisioning files.

Launch iTunes and sync with your iPhone.
 
theres no way whatsapp has been submitted. twitter has been updated at least 3 times as well as instagram in the time whatsapp was supposedly "waiting for approval"

They can update the beta like 8 times but can't even submit a version up to Apple for approval successfully

You forgot to add in Facebook was updated twice even
 
Since the betas optimize your databases, there is no way to go back to the official version and retain your chats? I tried with the official version and it crashes saying it can't read my message.
 
Does somebody know how to recover you message history while your downgrading to the official app in the app store? Yesterday my beta stopped working, so I downgraded to the official app. However my message history was not able to load in the app, seemed that I needed to make a fresh instal.

Now I updated to the most recent beta from that Chinese guy and it solved temporally the problem, however I am not able to backup my chat history. Is there a possibility for that?

Are the betas on pyga actually real whatsapp betas produced by whatsapp but hosted / leaked by someone else?
 
Most likely, nothing has been submitted du Apple.
If V13 had been submitted, it would already be available.
If V13 were going to get skipped, the continued release of new betas of V14 suggests that V14 also hasn't been released.
