What's happening? I have beta (not the last one) on my iPhone and few minutes ago it stopped working! I can't even open the app. I tried to install the latest beta version but no luck... Any idea what to do? I don't want really to delete app and install again because backup didn't work on beta version.

I'd like to think so... But it seems going through this thread that the update has been imminent for quite some time now.
Very curious what's taking so long for them to update the app. Much like Tweetbot 3 for iPad (now more than a year late), it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. At least WhatsApp devs have the good sense not to charge for the app while being so lazy.
i have to agree with you. since i reinstalled on my phone for some weird reason i got an email from apple saying i have started the password change click on the link to completed it. the funny thing is that i know i never tried to reset it. watch out for this and has anyone got this.
Once again, I can only recommend everbody delete the beta and most importantly all profiles that were installed with it.
I know that the profile was only used to install the malware and wasn't the malware itself, but having it on your iPhone definitely makes it easy to install malware on your phone.
Also, we have no proof that the app itself was somehow altered by that pgyer website.
The fact, that they use The exact same profile as the hackers did and now have a new one called "undead" makes the website seem suspicious.
The official version sucks for sure, but there are just too many reasons not to use the beta.
If you want to be absolutely certain, completely restore your phone and do not set it up from an iTunes/iCloud backup.
But most seem to say simply deleting the app is enough.

No, you can still pull your photos and stuff from iCloud. Emails, photos, documents, etc. will all be there. You're just not setting up your apps and settings from a backup. Whether it's a phone or a computer, you generally don't want to restore the whole system from a backup you're worried was touched/altered by a virus or security issue.
Just set up my phone as new and spent 1 hour downloading apps and changing settings. Won't be going near this beta again. I'll use the official app, as annoying as it is. Have to change all my internet banking passwords due to not knowing if that beta was dodgy.
Is this really happen or are you just guessing around a bit without any technological background? unfortunately you don't gave us any proof or technical details to what your IT friend has found, so i don't know if there is really anything or if he only talks a bit ********.

Using Xcode as mentioned above.
After reading about possible malware on my iPhone, I decided to delete the cracked beta and reinstall the official version of Whatsapp from the app store.
Unfortunately, my chat history can't be restored. Whatsapp tries to restore an old iCloud backup from september.
Copying the chat history from the beta and restoring it manually using iExplorer doesn't work either, Whatsapp crashes while optimizing.
Is there any other way to restore the chat history from the beta to the official version?
Right now i've reinstalled the beta and deleted the provisioning profiles, but i'd rather have the official version back since there's still a risk of having malware on my phone.

As I had posted some days back warning everyone not to go ahead with .14 since there is no known way of going back to official version for now ... sorry to say but for now nothing can be done
