WhatsApp Beta updated for 6 & 6 Plus Screen Sizes

Hello, two questions:
- If I install the beta version of WhatsApp, I have a loss of current conversations?
- When the final version will be released in the AppStore, I will update the app without losing the conversations?

1 - shouldn't, though people are having issues restoring backup chat logs (on all versions not just beta). I just re-downloaded the beta and everything stayed there from the previous version (it acts like an upgrade) but that's local content, not online backup
2 - Yes

It will come once 8.1 is released and 95% it will include VOIP feature.
 
They're really taking the biscuit with this update, I spend more time on WhatsApp than I do on any other message type app.

Even Apple's own Message app looks foreign to me having spent so long using the blown up WhatsApp.
 
After updates Facebook, Facebook messenger, Facebook pages and finally Instagram, I think next and LAST:mad: UPDATE is whatsapp. Pleaseeeee
